But the graphics in the second game bring it to life more.
I really wish valve would really up that engine for HL3.(maybe they have:))
On the subject of HL1, they should remake it themselves with new engine and also put it on consoles.

Both awesome games, just wish they made jumping etc harder and also put some puzzle mechanics in there.

Metro 2033 - Great looking game.

Textures are good in places, poor in others, see deadspace2.

DX11 will get you the goodness.

PC is always going to win graphically if you have a good system.
I played crysis,crysiswarhead. On dx9, and then switched to dx10. Was better, but performance was not.
Yes it does indeed look fantastic when maxed. And somewhere in between it looks good.
But you drop a few settings down like alot of people had to when it came out and it looks poor.
Crytek even stated on low, it looks worse then farcry maxed. And it doe...

I love both games, but i wouldn't even say they are alike.
TPS yes, But not in the same way. TR had lock on type shoot from the hip most of the time. Hated the grappling hook in the later versions.
TR1 Was the best imo.
But this new one looks on the right path anyway and i'll be getting it.
I thought the demo was decent, enjoyed it alittle.
But did not feel like i really wanted it, will be picking up when it's £4.99. soz cliffy.

Uncharted 2 is awesome graphics etc.
But you really have to try this on your TV.

The game does look stunning, and tbh. Looks better then crysis.
I don't care if you argue crysis 1 looks better, i don't think it does.
Just a shit load of trees in crysis.
But this running on the 360, best looking game on the 360 by a mile. City looks alive and in colour.
Cannot wait to see both PC(DX11) and PS3 version. Since i last saw it:)
