kojimas new FOX engine tech demo looks better than every PS3 exclusive game to date and it's not even a PS3 exclusive engine but a multiplat engine. It's all about how good your engine is from now on, and any third party company with enough money and time could develop an engine that can bring the PS3 to it's knees.

Cutting animations like hoping in/out of vehicles has always pissed me off, the game ends up looking like a complete joke. I know BF has never had these animations but can't they just do it? you're aiming for documentary type realism but you cut out animations that make a massive difference in terms of realism?

That has in-game written all over it, yeah it looks stunning but it's not going to fool anyone into thinking it's CGI.
the jittery hair and some a couple of flat textures give it way. The Zelda demo made confused people into thinking it was CGI.
At first it looked like complete CGI to me because it looked too good to be in-game, but after I saw people messing around with the time of day and battle options I realised it truly is in-game.
If the next Zelda looks like that then it'll be the best looking console game to date.

Hopefully this is a newer build than the E311 one. Seriously I'm not trying to bash this game or anything but so far the actual gameplay graphics still look like UC2.
