Us gamers are the winners. Hopefully devs like Naughty Dog, Rockstar, Infinity Ward, etc. continue to compete to outdo each other, and we continue to receive better and better games!
A new Battlefront would've been sick, but Road Rash is bringing back all sorts of memories of the Genesis.

Couldn't agree more with the comparisons to Fallout 3. I never finished Fallout 3. For me, the shooting mechanics just took all of the fun out of it.
And that is why I am so excited for Borderlands. A game with RPG-like elements in it, but built upon a solid shooter.
Sounds like a recipe for fun to me.
It seems I may be the only one, but this game sounds pretty awesome to me. Now, I'll wait until I see some footage to form an official opinion, but the idea of a Metal Gear Solid seen through the eyes of badass ninja-Raiden sounds great to me.

I don't have a problem with the tutorials being there, it would be nice to have an option to skip them though.
I usually take a quick glance at the manual before I play a game for the first time anyways, so to me tutorials are usually redundant. I think that they're necessary for newer gamers, but an option to skip them would be nice.
"Look up. Now look down. Now walk here. Shoot this target." That crap gets old.

They may be milking the franchise, but it doesn't matter much to me.
The simple solution? Only buy COD titles from Infinity Ward. Save your money, avoid the Treyarch ones, and you'll only have a new COD every 2 years or so...

This would be a fantastic move by Sony.
I'm one of the many who didn't get a chance to experience Ico and SotC, who would gladly pay $40 first day to get a chance to play them in HD with trophies.
Keep the collections coming Sony, cause I know I'm not the only one who will buy these. It's one thing to re-release them, but with what they're doing for God of War, and possibly Ico, they're going above and beyond a re-release. Brilliant.

In my experience, they have been accused more of being on the Xbox side of things, but that's just what I've seen.
Well, I usually trust GameInformer's opinion. However, I'm not looking at the score, I'm looking at everything in between. And from the looks of things, I'm still not convinced.
