You guys act like to have "originality and creativity" you have to come up with something that looks, acts, plays and feels like something you've never seen before.
Do you know how difficult that is? Literally EVERYTHING borrows from something that came before it. It's impossible not to. Even unique Indie games are taking gameplay concepts from other games. People see things they like, and they end up using these ideas and concepts in future projects, it just happens. T...
I really do not understand your logic here. You don't want motion controls...because you don't want them? Is that it?
Well luckily nobody asked you if they could make improvements in technology and medical advancements, etc. because by your logic, we would still be living in the dark ages.
"Hmm...this oil lamp gives off plenty of light...why would I need a light bulb? It's not broke, so why fix it?"
You say that people who want motion controls...
I would imagine the national spotlight is a big reason for it. Plus Jimmy Fallon is supposed to be a gamer or something, at least that's what I've heard
Ah! Bungie! What's that? Another Halo? No way!
Waters down the release? Yea, a beta reeallly hurt Halo 3's release...
Absolutely. I'm going to do my part in not allowing these people to get away with staggering releases to gouge the consumer.
Extended editions or bust. Learned my lesson when they decided to release 16 different versions of Watchmen (blatant exaggeration...)
True that. Owning both consoles and a PC is the way to go, if you're able to. I'm not missing any great games, and I can stay out of this silly little console war we all seem to be caught up in.
Well, you could be enjoying the awesome games on the PS3, and also enjoy the awesome games on the 360.
There really are great games on both people.
Haha your comment is full of fail. Sony turned their back on hardcore gamers? Ha! Ask many Sony fans their opinion, they'll tell you the exact opposite.
Uncharted 2, God of War 3, MAG, Gran Turismo 5, Agent, SOCOM 4, The Last Guardian all disagree with your statements.
In my opinion, Sony has never had a better one-year lineup than they do now.
Actually, I was at a friend's house today with my PS3, introducing them to the experience that is God of War 3. Four hours later, their jaws were still on the floor. If they could have, they would have played through the whole thing in one sitting.
The moral? This game f***in rocks.
I'm pretty sure Microsoft doesn't have a say in the Gears franchise right now. Wasn't there an article just recently saying Epic owned the franchise and could do what they want with it?
I agree with you about Sony fans, but are you guys really gonna sit there and act like there aren't rabid Microsoft fans?
Because there really is no difference between crazy Sony and crazy Microsoft fans, and you're blind if you think that one side is truly better than the other. I've seen both sides say some absolutely ridiculous crap on this site...
As if I needed another reason to go to Gamestop tomorrow and trade this in for God of War 3.
Oh well. Better luck next time Activision!
Well...yea, duh. Left 4 Dead 2 is already out silly.
10 bucks please.
And how long did it take Microsoft to acknowledge that the RROD was a major problem and needed to be taken care of?
No Chloe from Uncharted 2?
Blasphemous!
Well I don't know what this means "for the future of shooters" (haha now that's just funny...) but I know that I will be playing the future of shooters Bad Company 2, and I will not be worrying about what happens here.
Activision? Being greedy? No way!!
Haha I opened the page and literally said "Wow."
Anyways, the more info I hear about Reach, the more excited I get. Looking forward to getting on the beta and seeing what Bungies giving us.
Glad they went the route they did. I agree that a sandbox psychological thriller just wouldn't work, especially while trying to control pacing. I'm looking forward to seeing what they bring to the table.
Why they shouldn't: Because they have better things to do
