Well since know one knows exactly what the Rockstar Pass is for, it's hard to say but I do understand where you're coming from. The fact that there is a pass, it's $10, not included with new copies of the game and will be on the marketplace on day one is pretty frustrating. What ever it is, I feel like I'm going to have to spend another $10 to have more of L.A Noire on day one. Only time will tell.
It's not the space that's the problem. It's the fact of putting in a game you're eagerly awaiting to play, and slapped in the face with a install that could take anywhere from 5-20minutes. Same for 360 users, having to switch the disc, both minor annoyances, but should be eliminated with future consoles.
Both multiple disc and mandatory installs are annoying.
What's wrong with OXM? It's not like L.A Noire is a 360 exclusive. The words are what matters, not the score if you want reliable.
Heavy Rain wasn't exactly innovative. Quantic Dream improved upon what they already created with Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. The games were almost exactly identical in terms of gameplay. Except Heavy Rain was much more smoother and obviously the graphics were much better. Either way, both Heavy Rain and RDR are great games.
EDIT: Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy are the same game, but in the US it was called Indigo Prophecy. It was released back in 2005 on PS2/Xbox/PC. So if y...
The wait is so painful. After skimming through the first 15 minutes (Couldn't resist but didn't want to spoil anything) of the game, I can already tell this game is going to suck my life away for awhile. Hope to get my hands on an early copy tomorrow or Monday depending on when my local game stores gets it. Can't wait :D
Why cant we all just love games and feel sorry for those who cant play, why does someone have to gain?
Having played both Uncharted 1 and 2, I could easily live without it if I only owned a 360. I didn't care too much for either games. Personally, if I was asked which PS3 exclusive I could have on 360, it would be LittleBigPlanet or Heavy Rain. Love both those games.
Mass Effect 2 had it. Which provided some free DLC. I plan on buying the game day 1, so if they do something similar to Mass Effect and provide free DLC I'm happy. If you remember, when they talked about it being on 3 disc for Xbox, they mentioned some content spilled over to DLC. So maybe they will offer those cases for free, then later offer much bigger DLC which is paid content.
To be honest these "online" passes for Single Player only games aren't reall...
Actually it does mean something. The pre-order bonus will be a redemption code, if PSN isn't up you're not getting your bonus until it does. That isn't really a big deal but this is. Almost every game has a day 1 title update. Without PSN, PS3 users wont get that update. If that update is very important, without it could cause problems with the game. Hopefully PSN will be up by then, and PS3 users wont have to worry.
I have absolutely no interest in Brink, but I agree with you about the reviews. Homefront's SP was average at best, it had its moments but nothing I would play over unless it was for achievements. However, I loved Homefront's multiplayer and still play it regularly. So maybe in Brink's case, we have the same issue. People hyped for Brink will not care for the single player, but love the multiplayer despite the reviews.
Off topic though. One more week until I get ...
these people stole there image from my website, lazy POS
its got an anon pic, front page here it come
I hear PS has been playing alot lately
lol, NO WAY
Party chat, and being able to use it!
I hope it never goes back online!
This game wasnt that good, GTFO its nuts
By a few sites. I gave this a 9 as well. Great game.
I think you should read up a bit more on this game before making such silly claims. You can free roam, just not in the aspect of GTA where you kill random people and have huge shootouts for no reason.
