Oblivion was ok, I think I would have enjoyed it more on a console since my comp didnt run it very well.

ugh, even though i said i wouldn't, i downloaded the crysis demo. I had everything set to low which looks fugly as hell, and still had an annoying framerate plus load times that gave me a chance to ponder where my life will take me in the next 20 years.
Yeah the every 2 year thing is right... Which is why I have this same old
crappy gateway with a gf6200 card. I' rather put down $400-500 for a ps3
which will keep me satisfied for 5-10 years.

Iron Man kicks ass. I really hope this doesnt suck , the movie looks to be going iin the right direction.
I think its the art style that is more appealing. Its not like crysis where its trying to mimic reality (visually) as closely as possible, it has more of an exaggerated realistic look. Even though this game is set in a "real world" setting, I totally get a Jak type vibe from it, which is a good thing.
I couldn't tell you the last time i actually even saw a K mart.

I never got to play through Ico (just the demo) but that and SotC express
a tone that few games can achieve. Just watching thos games mesmerize me...
