How come the 360 gets all these sci-fi shooty games? I want Mass Effect dammit.
Not the greatest review. Is it just because its arcadey and not enough check points? I dont remember having checkpoints in AC4 at all, so whatever. Oh well I love Ace Combat, hope this comes to PS3.
Reviewers are so friggin harsh lately, even if its AC4 + awesome graphics (never played any after 4) then I want it. Maybe they should take into consideration that not everyone plays games for a living when they review games.
I agree, they need to make more games for the hardcore crowd. I guess the wii sport/gimmicky type stuff attracts the casual crowd, but if Nintendo doesnt keep up in the "real" games then it will become another gamecube.
Edit: oh and I'll add that I don't think the wii bubble is "on the verge" of popping, Super Mario Glaxy is coming and its one of those "real" games. I just wish Nintendo would makesome new Nintendo-ish awsoeme IPs
Im not even gonna try to play this, my poor pc cant take it
I got into the habit of always reading through the entire manual before i play a new game. yes it is lame, but its something that I started when i was a kid. Not really to know how to play but just to know more about the game itself. I always thought the metal gear manuals had awesome character artwork -
ugh if only im had a psp...
I dont know what the hell fiil rates are but all i know is first party games like Uncharted are looking amazing. As for the multi platform game we'll have to see. I've heard other Devs saying (in interviews)the trend is gonna reverse eventually.
yeah i played the original, still have it, on psone when it came out. it was pretty fun, even if there are no heads bein blowed off.
movie is most likely a bad idea...unless it is r rated with heads bein blowed off.
ZzZzZzZz
I totally agree with this. The numerical system just isnt any good. I just want to know one thing when i see a review...is it fun? just do away with that lame number at the end that causes so much controversy, that way we can focus on the actual games rather than debate whether the score is high or low enough. I think the painting analogy is a good one. its either good or its not.
I actually love the ones from games radar, but yeah, i was about to say that they are the "top 10 list" kings.
yeah sessler managed to not piss me off here, good points. If he would act like that and not the hamster on crack he usually is, then he wouldnt be so bad.
i think the multiplayer will even it out. to be honest, ive been leaning towards shorter games lately that are quick to pick up and finish (fear combat and other online multi player but i recently bought viewtiful joe for ps2 and it s awesome, even if it is old) it might just be the fact that i have less and less time to play games as of late.
well, blame Sega for giving up. Or the fact that the PS2 was just to friggin awesome.
Good for them but damn , i cant figure out how they convinced people to buy this thing , considering its basically a gamecube (a little better graphically) with motion controls. Holy $hit Nintendo is Genius, and now have money hats.
she would probably find it amusing for a while but then feel bored and left unimpressed.
who the hell knows but i'll agree with your wondering just to make it even.
actually, i hate all of these types of meaningless ranking systems.
i wish it would just be recommend/dont recommend type of deal. the number based grading has always been stupid now that i think of it.
I think gamespot has these ridiculously high standards for games that are not halo (on ps3 or 360). Kind of like a super geek refusing to date anyone who is not a perfect 10 super model that can magically summon beer...
well, it wouldn't bee surprising...but don't expect it until 2009 at the earliest
