not to mention kameo also used the faded background crisp foreground look in it's game too.
i still think rayman2: the great escape was the best platformer of that generation.
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
this article reminds me of that.
the first screen looks completely different to the second screen, everything I've seen from LBP looked the exact same.
it's only 2 screenshots and I think they're trying to display the scope of the game, I'm sure there will be much more stuff on screen.
just because you don't like certain titles on a console doesn't mean it's winding down.
Look at the ps3 it has 2 high quality titles this year, mgs 4, resistance 2.... and everything else keeps getting delayed into 2009.
you honestly think that's "ramping up"?
I can't wait for too human and halo wars, I can't wait for bungies next title and alan wake, or ng2 and gears, I can't wait for a tun of games coming out only for the xbox and just becaus...
PDZ was good, it just didn't feel finished, like it was rushed for the Xbox launch.
I don't like them so they shouldn't make them? =/
as much as I actually like PDZ i also enjoyed kameo and having to pick between the 2 I'd rather see a new kameo because I have more then enough FPS game for my PS3... actually there's really nothing else for my PS3.
But just because they haven't delivered yet doesn't mean they wont deliver soon.
but it's debut trailer was presented at sony days.
I think neother console has been pushed. Gears used 90% of a single xbox core and those visuals were outstanding, same goes for games like rachet and clank on the ps3.
to me the best platformers of the N64 were Banjo, conkers and rayman 64, mario 64 defined the genre but it was those titles that took it 1 step further.
After seeing what they did with kameo as an original release titles I'm stoked to see what they can produce 3 years later with banjo.
I would like to see a new conkers game...
Call it like "Conkers : the milk wars" or something
and a new Killer instinct game.
and a new blast corps game (or at least put onto live).
it looked amazing.
but the blur, graining effect, and all the shaking made me a little dizzy.
but 40% complete is a reference to the entire game.
That could mean the games graphics are 90% complete but they have only 2 of 6 modes and 3 of 8 maps, and 8 of 20 cars complete. Honestly the numbers are just a way to induce more confusion and arguments between faction members in the console war. (in my opinion they shouldn't bother with it, I mean it gets the hype train rolling and that hype is why games score worse then they should)
I know the game will have i...
Looks absolutely amazing visually, hoowever there were quite a bit of framereate hiccups, and I really hope the grass stays down after things go through it...
Looks like it'll be a stunning game when it's released.
it's not funny, in the rich mans world...
Seriously, they want to make an extra penny or two on it and they know people will pay. Plus, it's almost like a pre-order, if you buy the costume ahead of time you're more likely to buy the full game, otherwise it's just a waste.
but what would you want sony to say? Don't buy it, it's not as good blah blah blah? the money we put into RnD on this was a waste? of course not.
Honestly though, oled tech isn't for TV's it's main apilication will be high res screen's on handheld devices after the costs get low enough.
when the production costs get really low we'll probably expect to seem them on certain clothing labels, or as advertisements. Even business cards.
it looks good...
that's the only reason. It looks good.
But that's not a bad thing...
I mean, why do people use supermodels for clothing? does it make the clothes any better? No they just look really good.
we could pay politicians to model clothing but what would that tell you about the clothing brand?
Same for cars, they use concept models or a sport version because they're more asthetically pleasing.
...
actually, i think if we're going to be talking about junkyard sign ripp offs it would all go back to rayman 64/munches odyssey
anyways, the game looks great, I love how the background in the first picture is the same as the one in the second picture, really gives you a scope of the levels in the game.
