Agree with you, it would be awesome if the PS3 could emulate the psp and thus games like this could be played on both.
Sad thing is Sony has done a ton since the ps3 launched to improve it, the amount of 1st party games that have come out and the innovation in games like LBP and Fat Princess and Flower. They just don't get the credit, and people would rather poke fun at them.

given from what I've seen in beta, Aion isn't going to kill anything close to WoW. Its pretty much a wow clone with less options. Who knows maybe in 5 years Aion will be able to but this is just another one of those games that will disappoint and have a massive audience at the beginning, then few months later, it'll be less then 1/3 left playing.
Totally agree with you on this, Lunar to go is about the best news about an rpg i got lately. God now i can't wait for this game, tho it would have been nice to release it as a PSN download to play on the PS3 and PSP
What i would love to know is the actual profits per system, revenues just measure how much money each brought in but it doesn't take into account the expenses.
The reason i say this is because once expenses are taken into account we could know exactly the contribution each system makes.
Do you think the playstation people would be any different if they had numbers on their side? Its not xbox or ps people its people, there are xbox people who don't look at numbers.
Sales are a way for people to compare games, Each person has their preference. To some people LBP is an amazing game, to others its crap, but sales numbers are a statistical measure that people can compare.
I do agree that there is a great deal of quality games that don't sell great but are fun as hell to play. As long as we have games coming out people are going to look at sales to make a point.

The main gripe with Vista still is the system requirements which isn't that big of a deal and is being fixed in Windows 7.
For years now macs have been too damn c0cky thinking they are hot $hit, in all honesty Apple is more evil then MSFT, They with hold features from the iphone just so they can make a new one in 6 months and charge you through the ass. With each new product update I stat to resent apple more and more.

As long as Sony keeps demo's, and full games that can be purchased, adding the pay to play isn't that big of a deal. Now when they drop demo's and do the pay to play crap then I'll start to care.
And as other have mentioned this is for the people who want home items, but may not be willing to shell out the price of the full game.
My only concern is the controls, I'm looking forward to what Capcom does with it as this is the only Wii game i'm excited to get, but if the controls end up being tacky and uncomfortable it will ruin the game. Please do good on the controls CAPCOM.
Quite frankly Eyepet looked way better then the Natal demo, not to say Natal won't deliver some awesome experiences in the future, but Eyepet made Natal look silly

Its a 30 mil userbase with an astrix, the people who have an arcade have to purchase a HDD which isn't too much to assume they would but its what $100 for it? so its conditional at 30 million, but there is a good chunk that wouldn't have access to it right away.
If it is on the 360 We can all benefit from it, it would enable more people to play the game and thus would increase the game population, which would help everyone in the game. So yes if it goes to the 360 which it might given XI was on it, it would help everyone who plays the game, frankly if you play an MMO and its vacant it sucks, the whole purpose of an MMO is to have a ton of people playing.

This game has 800 cars on a handheld about the size of a Xbox 360 Controler, yes it doesn't have HD visuals but the psp's processor is only 333MH the 360's is above and beyond that by a light year.
Also GT5 is probably going to have better visuals, handling, modeling, and more cars then Forza so you can do you comparison then.
if i was traveling a lot i would, get a nice 17" laptop with full 1080p and blu-ray for some 300 on the road.

last generation ps2 was where jrpg's were successful and thats where the crowd is in the west. If sqare were to release one game like say star ocean on the ps3 it would most likely outsell all their xbox360 releases combined.

I don't mind the multi-plat strategy but leaving your biggest cash cow out of games isn't wise.
yeah good point the the psp sales would suffer, still to me PSP is the best handheld ever made there are a ton of games on it i just plain love. Cant wait for this hopefully the price of the games is no more then 4.99
