yeah it looks awful and IMO Move would be way better its not like you can' do force with the move controller.
To me the rail part of the game is just so off putting, using a flashlight a windowless room so no one can see you is better

sony 1st party devs say hi, according to many of them they have the creative freedom and time to make their games appeal to their audiences. so in reality this doesn't really apply to Sony but yeah overall the industry is chasing the dollar and it will hurt all of us.

This was more aimed at fencers, 3DS will still sell a crap ton of systems, even early on if there is one safe bet its Nintendo on handhelds, but NGP is now being talked about, we have something more then just "she said he said rumors"
when a 3DS pokemon game is announce is when i will buy it, now you're telling me Uncharted,Killzone,LBP on NGP and my jaw is in pain from hitting the ground.
pretty much this, now people are talking about the NGP and 3DS is about to come out, also by revealing things like the supposed launch line up and having games like uncharted gets people comparing.

yup, what i think people who reviewed it did was say oh look what WoW has now so lets complain that FFXIV doesn't and say its bad. The issues are UI lag (honestly you spend 20 minutes with the UI you get used to it) lack of AH and lack of quests, all will be added. game isn't even a month old yet.
Even with the lack of AH, and Quests there is plenty to do, grinding doesn't feel like a chore its easy to do, or even getting a party going and playing with others its ...
There is really a simple fix for the UI issue, of course the lag needs to be gone, but just enable hotkeeys, like I for inventory, C for equipment, etc
This article was full of crap, and you pointed it out, FFXIV isn't WoW and comparing it to WoW which has had 6 years of improvements is just plain stupid.
and people who say "OMG they let you play only a little, being in a group that has 3 active and full linkshells and over 300 members not one person has yet had issues with the fatigue system" There is so much to do the only way you'll run into it is if you jar shit, and even then you'll just play a 2n...
just because its different tech doesn't mean it won't violate the patent. if all it took was different tech to get around a patent companies would be doing it left right and center, this could still be a crap storm for Nintendo if it turns out Sony has the patent on their idea.
