Assassins Creed: Valhalla is NOT a next-gen title - only next-gen compatible. Of course it won't look nearly as good as it would if it were exclusivly on the next-gen platforms.
Lokking forward to it :)
It’s such a shame this has happened. Unfortunatly I’ve seen the spoilers myself and... while it left me kinda disappointed, I keep reminding myself that this does not define the whole experience. So far, Naughty Dog has yet to make a bad game on PlayStation, and I’ve enjoyed every game Neil has been involved with very much thus far.
What it comes down to is how well the game plays, how the story is told, the music, sound design, emotional impact and all the amazing small t...
Dont understand the hate for this game. Are you guys really that insecure about an unknown developer making an PS exclusive? And who the hell cares if their other games have been medicore when maybe this one will deliver? Dont think its fair to judge just yet. There are many devs who have made medicore or really fucking bad games but still has a few golden ones.
I am just glad that both next gen consoles will provide a huge leap in gaming :) Especially with the SSDs that BOTH consoles have :) Only a bonus that PS5s SSD is the better one, but still, both have great SSDs :)
Already pre-ordered here
wtf has doom 3 in common with RE?
But its not....
Looks cool tbh. Expect them to give more info on specs later. Maybe this one is 16tf and 8k gameplay? Would be cool. Day one if its 899$ or lower. Cant wait!!!
Just turn it off then. Problem solved
Good job on butchering an amazing VR game.
CPU difference is 0.1GHz and RAM is split into two modules where 6GB are operating at slower speeds than PS5 and the rest is a bit faster. So CPU and RAM is basically the same
Have you ever tried a high-end VR headset on PC? Because if you did, you would know that there are so much to improve in regards to tracking, controllers, resolution and the overall picture quality.
would be 100% better looking if they went for a more cell-shaded look and feel. They are clearly trying to go for semi-photorealistic here, and it isn't working out well for them. It looks unappealing.
They dont owe us shit
Good thing they dont have to duplicate assets because of the SSD. expect to see games with higher quality assets which requires smaller storage space.
@Foxtrot, bro, you clearly have no clue of what makes VR special. This game simply would not work well on flat screen. So many design elements would have to be completly re-designed, combat would feel boring most likely since you are only facing a handful of enemies at the same time, and their AI is somewhat limited because it’s designed to ease people into VR. Literally everything that makes Alyx good, interesting and immersive would be taken away if it were flat-screen.

I do agree with you on that. But with time, more VR games will come. We just have to be patient. I bet much will happen in that space now that alyx has been released to critical acclaim
You know, the fastest SSD on the market right now only goes up to 4.9GB/s? And it cost 250$ alone, and is still inferior to what PS5 is offering.
its for the best tbh
