Would love a new IP thats Uncharted inspired but different
They actually re-used the bear model from that "cyberpunk" game they demoed? hmmm... I smell lazy :P
Damn thats just sad 😅
Amazing interview.
As for the ending, I think Ellie was successful in her revenge, but she understood that killing Abby wouldn’t solve anything, it will not make her happy and and it won’t bring Joel back. Sadly it was too late. Her revenge cost her everything she loved, and her biggest fear became true. Despite everything, I think that Ellie was slowly turning into a monster and she really needed to stop cause that’s not who she is. By letting Abby and Lev live and go, Ell...
Wtf is this comment? 😂
This games story is an absolute rollercoaster when it comes to feelings. Never before have a game made me feel this conflicted about my own biases. I didn't know what to think after finishing the game. I was emotionally exhausted. But the more I think about it and the ending, I start to love it more and more. To me, this is the game of the generation - so far. Still have Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghosts of Tshushima left but maaan... this game got me really hard in the feelings.
Or maybe a part 3 that will expand upon Ellies arch
Means its been in development for years then :D
Not for me. This looks exactly like my type of game. Only thing I hope they improve on is fighting and maybe make the guns have more omph to them. If not then it's not a dealbreaker tbh :)
Im sure as time goes by during next-gen, new techniques will be developed to optimize the performance hit RT takes. Its new tech and still has much room to grow.
As of right now, I only expect early next-gen games to either not use it or have RT in a limited fashion on certain objects and surfaces with varying levels of resolution (RT resolution).
Anyone can rare a game at metacritic without even buying the game. The user ratings are going up almost everyday. It currently sits at 4.8 btw.
And tbh, its sad that your only argument is the userscore on metacritic. Only shows that you dont have any real arguments for hating the game.
Looks incredibly generic. Specially after seein what CDPR are doing with the Cyberpung genre.
The fact that you get to see a revenge story from two perspectives that connects perfectly to the first game is what make it deeper for me. I am NOT saying GoW story is trash - because its not. GoW is 10/10 and so is LoU pt2. They’re two different experiences.
GoW is more fun, but LoU 2 has a far deeper story.
Tell me about those plot holes that you found 🤣
Two completly different games and premises. Cant really compare them. At all.
Smaller formfactor does not equal better cooling. The more space you leave for the heat to evaporate the better.
10/10 doesn’t imply that the game is perfect and flawless.
This plot of revenge and cycle of violence would've never have worked if they didn't kill of Joel. I absolutely loved that man. He was like a father figure in many ways. People looked up to him, but if you look past all that... in this world that the Last of Us depicts, he did many terrible deeds throught in the first game. From our perspective when playing the first game it was all totally understandable. He did what he had to do because he loved Ellie as his own daughter. That howev...
He says the exchange was pleasant but unusual. Dont see the problem here?
