MS is just looking to get more people to come on Xbox live.
MS pays Amazon the difference for the price cut, people enticed to buy new, then those people buy an Xbox live card.
End result is Amazon shipping more copies and MS profiting in the end because of Xbox live subs sold.
This is why you'll never see Sony do this. They make no money for people to come online.
People that get excited for CoD are the people hoping the CoD devs can release a game that will give them the satisfaction and fun CoD4 did. You'll be waiting forever.
Can't wait for this. But I especially cannot wait for Vice City 2 on next-gen consoles.
3D and motion controls are terrible and do not belong in gaming.
Very smart if MS does this. for one it makes devs happy that they dont have to re-learn everything. It also keeps the console price close to what they are now, so they will have no issues with pushing them out the door. and do we really need much better graphics people? Something Sony forget this past gen when they thought the console market were all millionaires.
Console gaming will only die when you don't need a console anymore, you can just log onto website and download the 60 dollar game into your TV or Cable box and have it forever. However, gaming on TV's will never die because it is the best gaming experience you can get. Unless they create some sort of helmet that has a screen built in that covers not only the vision in front of you but your peripheral vision as well, which would make you feel like you're in it (similar to those lar...
I think it's too expensive. Yes you get new movies, but 4 bucks to hold a movie for 24 hours is way too high.
Heck, I remember in the 90's you could rent movies for that price and keep the movie for 3-4 days.
This Amazon thing should be like a dollar a movie.
Zipper's next game was an RPG, and that is now cancelled obviously. Look it up.
I don't trust reviewers reviewing tac shooters because most reviewers now are from the CoD era and don't understand them.
You're seeing it now folks, the beginning of Sony dying in gaming. Reminds me a lot of how Sega went out. Exclusives dying, shut down studios one by one, have one more go at it with a new console, watch it flop, go out of business in gaming.
What Sony did to Sega is exactly what Microsoft is doing to Sony. PUTTING THEM OUT!
Wow, Sony is so stupid. Zipper has one of the most loyal followings and knows Playstation hardware really well.
This is not a case of Zipper dying, this is the beginnings of Sony dying in gaming.
Mark my words. Thumbs it down fanboys, you know it's true.
This shows you care too much. Move on CoD fanboys, so many better shooters out there.
CoD will be forever broken now because the actual talent that was making CoD all bailed out from Infinity Ward in 2010 leaving Activision with C class devs like Treyarch and Raven. The Devs try to make games that run well but they are not talented enough. So basically you're protesting nothing.
SONY lost it's American fanbase to Microsoft. You can come up with all excuses why this doesn't sell and why that doesn't sell. It's because Americans buy anything and everything, so when you lose a monster chunk of that market to a rival, you're bound to drop.
He got fired or quit (I think fired because no one quits when they have no new job waiting) cause of the hacks, not because he wanted to give out a free classic map, lol. Activision like the guy says are not gamers, I doubt they even watched that live stream video or knew anything about it. Most guys at IW never even met anyone from Activision.
It was more than the hacks, though, that was just the final nail. Activision saw how much the fans were hating on bowling for months ...
If he quit from fan backlash he is a weak coward. Who cares about the 14 yr old pimple faced CoD fans whose lives depend around CoD. That nonsense would be so easy for me to deflect.
After MW series they were planning to move into the future, but no sci-fi, sort of like 25 years ahead in the future because this allows them to still use real guns, settings etc.. but add their own imaginary twist on things.
I'm among the older crowd and from the USA, me and my friends still play PS3, but I will admit we are a dying breed that is still giving the playstation brand some popularity in the States, however, the younger generation has took over most of the landscape and they prefer Xbox. All the kids I know game on Xbox, and the only games they know are Call of Duty, Madden and a few others.
If you play PS3 online you hear mostly young men talk. When you play Xbox it's all kid...
No one talking about the Vita bombing?
Just ask yourself, would you be viewing if you were able to? That will answer your question.
A 1924 Ford truck has a better chance at getting a new engine than the next Call of Duty.
