No, the game will still have perks, custom killstreaks, XP and prestiging like every other game. Until CoD changes all of those things, it will not be fresh. A new Setting only changes what the eye sees, not what the brain uses.
I'd say the only fanbase that are not pushovers are the Socom fans. They put a company out of business by boycotting their product (Socom 4) and making older Socom games log more players online.
Both Battlefield and CoD and are overrated. Last gen shooters were so much more fun, like Halo 3 and Socom 2.

Respawn Entertainment's shooter is the only shooter I am looking forward to for the rest of this generation because I know it will smack us all upside the head with innovation and jaw dropping graphics.
And being a PS3 gamer, the last thing I will do is put faith in Treyarch again after the disaster that Black Ops was on PS3.

No way. Activision isn't stupid. Treyarch are not good enough developers for Activision to risk using Treyarch on a futuristic setting. Remember how sloppy Black ops was?
Activision will probably use Sledgehammer studios for the future setting because they have developers with more skill, experience and that worked on futuristic games.

I think they know they are playing the same game once they start playing it. The problem is that these people think they are getting something new and exciting before the game comes out.
That is where the problem lies. Once these people realize this before the purchase, CoD will die down.

If Elite adds more excitement than people are just not smart because the way DLC was before is you got more maps earlier and more at once, which to me and most people is more exciting.
Just because you get new maps every month shouldn't mean more excitement. That is Activisions way of marketing it, but don't let it fool you. You are getting the same amount of stuff in PARTS at LATER times.
