By FAR Sonys best franchise. I buy PlayStations just to play these games. They either need to reboot the franchise and go back to its roots, or remaster 1-3 with state-of-the-art graphics.

Morpheus is very likely to flop. Gamers who spend $2000 on their gaming rigs will have no problem buying an Oculus. People who are budget gamers buying the cheap PS4 aren't going to spend the money on Morpheus which is likely going to cost as much as the system when you factor in camera $60, controller $50, and headset $200+

When I picked up my copy today at best buy someone was walking out with the Xbox One. Inside, they basically had built a castle with probably 100 of those white PS4 bundles. No one was even looking at them.

Yeah the PS4 version needs some work on the brightness settings but that can be tweaked on a TV. Other than that the games look exactly the same except there appears to be more dust and particles flying in the X1 version.
At 1:00 you don't even know you are being shown two versions of the game.
I expect sales of the game to be great but I don't know anyone who has been waiting to buy a new console to play Destiny. I don't think this game is going to move a whole lot of hardware on either side. Especially since you can just buy the game on PS3/360, what is the incentive to upgrade?
I think everyone wants to try it. But I bet this think comes out at a $200+ price point and 99% of people aren't going to be able to justify paying that kind of money for a peripheral.

Pre-loads should have helped but if it crashed because of minecraft I'd imagine it isn't going to handle Destiny.

Ugh I hope it isn't futuristic, leave that to the new CoD. Hope this isn't some plan to release a futuristic expansion along side CoD to compete with it. Rushing this game to launch before CoD is why it was broken for months to begin with.

It's because Bungie's last new IP, Halo, is one of the biggest entertainment phenomena of all time. Games, books, graphic novels, toys, TV shows, anime, Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg, and the list goes on. People are expecting big things.
