Don't care about themes, how bout we get that media functionality?
It doesn't work the same way though. For $400 you might build something that competes, but in 5 years Xbox/PS4 will have vastly improved visuals and play everything perfectly. Your PC probably won't be able to play the newest games, and certainly not in their best visual fidelity.
When you have an OS that costs $100, a case $50, I have a hard time believing you can find a motherboard, Cpu, gpu, hard drive, power supply, optical drive for $250 that competes with these ...
Misleading title for sure, should be more like "Alienware Area 51 is a beast of a computer if you buy 3 GPU's and choose all its highest end available components"
4K capable and GPUs aren't even mentioned? Lol
If you can afford both and love to game then get both - I did. I kind of regret getting my PS4 right now because none of the games out yet are must have and the system doesn't have the media functionality of a PS3 - it is clear I should have waited for a price drop or the inevitable hard drive size upgrade but it isn't that important to me. When that great PS4 game finally comes around I'll be ready to go. Xbox simply has more and better functionality at this point so it has alrea...
A lot of Sony exclusives turn out to be purely eye candy with nothing to back it up, I can't say I am surprised that it has happened again with this game.
No doubt. 13 years and Sony has yet to give Halo multiplayer any competition. Still stands as the best FPS ever released on consoles. Goldeneye/PD were incredible but don't stand up to the test of time, with about 4 frames per second in frantic multiplayer lol. Halo is always going to be king. Thanks Bungie for creating such an incredible sci-fi universe for us to watch, read about, and play in.
It was estimated in 2008 Monopoly had sold 250 million, six years later and I'm sure it is now a lot higher. Good luck minecraft. This game is proof you can sell a turd if you find the right buyers.

"I get so annoyed when these garbage no name sites submit their trash and then the author/contributor has to immediately comment so defensively when the community knows it's blatant crap written there. "
Abriael and dualshockers? Lol
Looks just like every other call of duty we have played since we left the battlefields of WWII.
Gameplay looks much improved over the early stuff, but also looks like it came with a graphical downgrade.
Never understood the allure to lockout. It's not a good halo level unless it has a warthog, period.
The biggest advantage for Xbox will always continue to be the network, Xbox still has a entire generations lead over PSN. Doesn't really apply you keep your console offline I suppose, but a huge plus for online multiplayer.
Slap in the face of real rape victims. Virtual rape? Give me a break, just disconnect.
Getting both, but it's clear bungies multiplayer talent got careers at 343i. Destiny will be great to kill time up until MCC releases though, then its time for some serious competitive multiplayer on 4 of the best console shooters ever released.
I've had fun with Crysis series, Far Cry series, and Ryse. I don't know why everyone bashes these guys so much, I have nothing to complain about.
Nice work on releasing the best looking console game though Crytek, almost a year later and nothing released yet has toppled that.
I own both but my PS4 has gotten about 20 hours of use since February. I've used my Xbox almost everyday since launch.
The X1 games, network, and system features are what make it the entertainment hub of my house, while the PS4 has gotten limited usage with Killzone and Last of Us Remastered.
Edit: Oh well buddy, what you believe and what is fact are two different things. If people don't believe me that isn't my problem. I'll post a pic somet...
Not my type of game I'm gonna go ahead and skip this one, but I always enjoy a good tech demo.
Didn't read the article, but games that are single player, sp/mp, and multiplayer only all have their places.
Games aren't "better without multiplayer". Sounds to me like you have no friends.
Edit: Read the article.
"Game critics have been brainwashed into thinking games need multiplayer as well. Wolfenstein: The New Order was a great game with really fun gameplay and yet many reviewers still knocked it for not having online multiplayer. Since w...
Controller is much improved over DS3, but not 360/X1.
No power brick? Who really cares?
Smaller? Again, who cares?
You guys already nailed the HDD argument.
Remote play sucks. It's cool in theory, but using a touchpad on the backside for R2/R3 and L2/L3 is just horrid and doesn't work well.
It isn't amazing but I had fun with it. The competitive multiplayer sucks. It'll occupy my time until MCC. Bungie made a good game, but they certainly haven't made another Halo.
