I realize that, but what will happen is that PS4 gets comparison against PS3/360 FarCry 3, while the other versions will unfairly then be compared against the PS4 version, and not the last iteration of the series on previous gen hardware, and that is just truth.

Halo: Combat Evolved alone is still worth $60 and still worthy of its 97 metacritic. And you get 3 more games for free on top of that. This guy is intentionally a hater.

We know the game bottlenecked at the CPU so it makes perfect sense that the X1 runs a little better considering the CPU is just a tad better in the X1.
This is the one and only score this game deserves.
Anyone reviewing fairly is giving this collection 10/10. Best collection released since the Orange Box and IMO even better.
I'm interested to see the AC Unity scores and if pro-PlayStation sites knock points off because it shares the same CPU bottleneck as the X1.
Buyer beware true 7.1 surround cannot be carried over an optical cable, but this applies to all 7.1 headphones not just these.
And considering Halo comes out tonight also makes that figure more impressive since some people will be playing Halo instead.

We have only seen "ADS" on the battle rifle. My guess is that it is a cosmetic effect just to differentiate the battle rifles zoom function to that of the DMR. The Halo 4 BR had that little holographic sight on top, now they are just making it realistic like you are actually using it while maintaining the original zoom functionality. We'll find out tomorrow.

Not familiar with any of his work, but wearing shoes on you head and face is in no way cool, this master chief mask is super lame. Barely resembles the chiefs helmet, looks like a motocross helmet with shoes hot glued onto it. I prefer shoes on my feet.

Nah some are a waste of time. Got 100% on Assassins Creed 4, not worth it, realized once I did it and felt no sense of accomplishment that it was a waste of time. Also, Killzone 2 and Shadowfall, waste of time. Watching Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4's cutscenes, waste of time. 100%'ing the new Tomb Raider, waste of time.
So, sometimes yes, video games are a waste of time.

They do proper betas with Halo so there is plenty of time for tweaking. None of this "Play the BETA 2 weeks before the game releases!" bull****. 343i will have a year to tweak the game. Most betas anymore are a joke and that is clearly no the case here.

Fundamentally there is not much difference between zoom and ADS. As long as it is handled properly it won't be much different than zoomable weapons are now except that you can see the gun on screen. As long as it doesn't have a pronounced effect on speed/maneuverablity/accuracy then I see no issue.
I'm a long time fan of the comics and tv series but I honestly don't find this game to be any good. It's like a really un-fun, uninteresting, choose your own adventure. Seems highly overrated IMO. Played season 1, and found no reason to continue on. Way over priced too, should be $15 for access to all seasons.
I sure hope it is shorter, 7 years was insane. I quit gaming on 360/PS3 3 years ago cause I was so sick of the hardware. Had to switch to PC gaming for a while. With PS4/X1 already being severely underpowered I pray to god they don't Las for more than 4-5 years. They need to stop supporting 360/PS3 and move on, now. In all reality, this time next year production should be staring on the launch titles that will premiere with PS5/Xbox, and I guarantee there will still be working on 360/PS3 ...
With the home of the second best sci-fi franchise being on Xbox (Halo), there is zero reason the number one sci-fi franchise (Star Wars) shouldn't be exclusive to the Xbox as well. Sony is welcome to Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica to lead over Killzone and Last of Us.
