Yeah this short demo looked more intriguing than all the footage of No Man's Sky to date. Reminded me of that game, but with better graphics, and a purpose.
"there are those who have sunk hundreds - thousands - of hours into it to try and obtain Gjallarhorn. Regardless of which side of the fence you sit, there's no denying a lot of people play(ed) Destiny."
It's because it was a Bungie game, the studio that brought us the greatest console shooter of all time, and the second best sci-fi universe next to Star Wars. And it was their first game since leaving Halo. How were we to really know that all the talent of Bu...
Xbox controller is definitely still better, though I will say the DS4 is a huge step up from the DS3/2/1.
Can't wait for my elite controller in 10 weeks, that think is gonna be sick!
I don't care for the touchpad at all. I do like that it adds another button, but you know they could have just added more buttons lol. I'd appreciate a few more buttons on controllers, it would make a game like ARMA playable on console.
Yeah the UI needs an update, folders for sure, and the ability to take some stuff of the task bar, i got some app stuff in there that ill never touch and i would like to be able to just hide or remove it.

Ah yes, the benefits were so awesome compared to the disadvantage of my internet going down once or twice a year, what a bummer this isn't in place today, it would have been...
I really hope they allow PC to Xbox game streaming, I'd definitely get more use out of my high end gaming rig if I could easily enjoy it on my couch/theatre setup.
I agree, Halo 1 and 2 anniversary are much more impressive remasters, but this Gears remaster is much better than some of the other stuff that has been remastered such as The Last of Us or God of War III.
You only need to look at a game like Battlefield. If that game used the cloud for Crackdown-esque destruction, it would likely be a lot better version of the game compared to versions that didn't use it. We can only hope this happens. Offloading some of this stuff to the cloud also frees up resources locally and allow you to do more with the hardware of the console itself. It's a win-win situation, just needs to be taken advantage of. And as we can see with Crackdown, when you do take...
The gameplay was great, the unfortunate thing of this game is that there is more cutscenes than actual game. Final cut scene put me to sleep, I honestly don't know how it ended, just remember a cemetery scene.
The vast majority of monitors are 1080p, makes sense that it is the most popular resolution.
What is the price on this beast? A few hours ain't much gameplay but if it is $10 or less I'd consider buying it.
I was always a PlayStation guy. I loved my PS2 religiously. That was until the day I played Halo at a friends house. I left his house and headed right out to my local WalMart and bought an Xbox and Halo. It's the only game I had ever played that made me drop what I was doing and purchase everything I needed to play it. I'm sure others had this experience as well. Halo: CE is easily one of, if not the, best shooter of all time. Incredible gameplay, a sci-fi universe that only Star War...
Again this is why Halo remains the premiere FPS. Guy playing is painful to watch though he is real, real, bad.
Yeah lol, prefer Sony and Vizio?
Samsungs got the best picture quality and generally costs the same or less than a Sony. I'll never buy anything but, unless something changes.
I dig it.
Definitely nicer than it exists today
Oh my, Microsoft needs to get DICE to put this tech in the next Battlefield, that would be insanely awesome. I just hope multiplatform multiplayer experiences aren't held back from other platforms not having this tech available to them, make each version the best it can be.

Lol, trees that break into 2 pieces then disappear entirely. Or a house that breaks and disappears... don't matte...
Forza lets cars hydroplane, as far as I know Drive Club doesn't. Not even a competition, Forza has much better weather effects.
@bleedsoe9mm
Likely neither, PS3 never even added basic cross game chat still to this day. While yes in theory anyone could do cloud compute, in theory almost anything could be done. So lets just stick to facts, Microsoft is obviously leading the cloud compute front, and likely will be the only one using this feature for at least several years if not a decade or more.
Catching up? In sales maybe, in every other way the Xbox One has left the PS4 in the dust. Games, features, services, updates, etc, etc...
