Lol well said martinstrings, I know exactly what you are talking about. I actually came in here to say the same thing. Don't care for any PS3 remasters but SOCOM 1-3 Remastered (and not half assed, we are talking Halo 2 Anniversary level remaster) would be incredible.
Article speaks the truth. Kojima fanboys everywhere will disagree. I've only played 2 and 4 but the writing and stories are ridiculous.
I was just answering the mans question, don't need to get offended guys.
I don't consider any telltale stuff to be games either. I'm a huge Walking Dead fan, got all the comics and love the show but that telltale game was a snoozefest, played all of season 1 and found no reason to do season 2.
Because this is a movie basically, not a game. You'll get the same experience watching it as you would actually playing it. If you just watch it on twitch Sony doesn't get a sale and doesn't make money.
@Nineball2112
I don't think new game prices will change. I do however know that games will get discounted much sooner.
You find higher priced in digital because they have to be priced higher. If a game prints 5 million copies at $60 and sells those all to the retailers, and then goes ahead and sells a digital copy for $50-55 then why would people buy the physical copy for $60. They need to keep retailers happy. Once they have sold to retail there job is done, they...
Guy came up with Gears so this will probably pretty good, truth be told the setting looks a little to similar but way to early to judge.
Too early to say but the Crackdown showed stuff that simply won't be available on the PS4. Yes, Sony "could" invest and do the same type of stuff, but they have been pretty clear they have no intention of doing so. If this tech gains serious momentum PS4 games won't be able to compete.
Dude was clearly expecting Gears 4, he must have not realized it is a remaster.
Yes most definitely. I've been disc free on PC for years and on console for 2. Way better than having a collection of worthless plastic, I'll never touch a physical game again. Once we get rid of those and digital prices can finally drop, the gaming market will be much better.
@ninsigma
Bungie once said it best: "In Halo 1, there was maybe 30 seconds of fun that happened over and over and over and over again. And so, if you can get 30 seconds of fun, you can pretty much stretch that out to be an entire game."
In The Order I've played 20-30 minutes of zero fun. I believe I have given it more than a fair chance.
Sorry dude, I can't even keep up with the lineup, didn't realize that it started tonight. Gears, Halo, Forza, and Fable all this year and sooner rather than later? Wow, 4 biggest gaming franchises and started or on the doorstep. Might as well start on the next console cause this generation is over. That being said not sure that a new console will ever be needed. After seeing some Crackdown not sure new hardware will be needed in the console space, may have very well reached the point ...
not sure of the conversion rate but got 5 days ago at $40 USD, maybe I got ripped off. Luckily I got a great job so I don't feel ripped off but I quit after meeting some chick in a marketplace or something. Terrible opening, never even fired a shot before I made the decision it was time to go back to Bloodborne. QTE fest. Photo mode would be killer though if it was a game worth playing.
Kicking off Xbox's unpresidented fall lineup with a 10/10, incredible! Hard to believe H5 is but a mere few weeks away. Definitely a downside to owning X1, there just isn't enough time to play all its games this year, and while you are trying to catch up you'll run out of time to play all of next years games as well. Pick and choose wisely, X1 has way too many fantastic games until 2017.
$299 usd would be a great deal, id buy that without hesitation.
Sorry, from a guy who owns both consoles, PS4 isn't even close to great of a console as X1. Sony may not need to catch up on sales, but on features the PS4 hasn't even matched the 360 yet. Luckily I only play PS4 exclusives on my PS4, and Bloodborne is awesome. It is a bummer though that after 2 years and that is only cool thing about PS4. Glad I had a ton of used games to pay for mine and I didn't drop $400 cash.
Lol 10/10. I don't doubt that the game is great but really?
"cut scenes were sparse and brief"
Hell yes, I knew this was going to be the best game of the series. Real excited to play now.
Physical games need to die already, keeping the digital titles high priced and it's bull**** since they cost less to produce.
It's not a matter of believing me dude, it is just the truth. Anyone who has both services will say the same thing. Anyone else, such as yourself, is just stating an uneducated opinion. I think you are trying to quote me but just put words in my mouth as well. I said "a whole generation ahead," and that is a fact, it isn't even an argument.
Original was the best, only thing it needed was matchmaking. Couldn't play ranked matches with friends (at least without a major headache). I like #2 up until the point where they made every playlist execution rules, which are just plain stupid.
Sorry but there is no way the story and writing is so great in MGS 1 and 3 that it makes up for the two that I have played, and while I can't say for sure I almost guarantee it is more of the same.
