@Sitdown: Because why not? If people want that then they can. I'm just pointing out that this article is wrong saying all games would be better on the Switch when they can't be due to lack of power. Any ports will have to be stripped down taking away the vision the devs had for their game. "Yeah, but you can play it anywhere". No thanks, give me the full experience as it was intended on a console with power.
Laptops, mobile phones etc are made for portability and portability only, they're not trying to be two things at once. The Switch is trying to be everything and that's the problem. Portability means they sacrificed raw-power so games won't be better on a Switch than they will be on a PS4 or Xbox making this article pointless.
It will launch at the very end of this gen then relaunch next-gen. Worked too well last time not to do it again.
Personally I prefer gaming on my 50" TV and plugging in my Sennheiser headphones.
"the Nintendo Switch has a simple, killer gimmick"
Being a jack of all trades, master of none?
Mice
Yeah, Amiibo.
What's a real gamer? Don't get why people say that...
Anyway, I'm confident Microsoft will bounce back though. No way will they let themselves become irrelevant. I love my PS4 but also love Xbox. Seeing them fall isn't good for the consumer.
They're not that bad. They make great sports games and Battlefield is excellent.
Looks dam impressive. Hopefully will finish Nioh before this comes out.
Vanquish on PC was so good. Best cover system shooter I've played. And 60FPS was a bonus.
Demo too fiddly and buggy. Can't even test your creation. Oh well.
Interesting. Used to love building PC's. Off to download the demo, gotta try it.
"But it’s when we see this level of violence take a realistic form in either film or real life, that it becomes deeply unsettling"
No shit Sherlock. Any idiot knows the difference between pixel and flesh.
The combat isn't the problem, the bosses are.
Yeah, can see Just Cause 3 being a good chill game to play when Nioh frustrates me for the 100th time and makes me want to kill something.
I want Ninja Turtles!
Mine's an American college girl who likes Call of Duty.
haha, same exact message almost with the one "grooming" me now lol. I'm just going to play along, see how long it takes for them to ask for money, but will report the user.
I have one messaging me now. She said she's going through a list looking for people to chat to as she's bored. I've messaged her a couple of times being polite. I might message her again. Thought it was just a random gamer as she's not said anything unusual yet.
edit: electricity_medi is her name.
Yeah, makes the world of difference. Playing Nioh@60 on the Pro makes it that much better. Thank you Ninja Theory, my Pro investment is paying off.
