Won't be as the X uses decent vapor chamber cooling, the type used on high end GPU's and they're not foolish enough to let that happen again. Although wish they went with proper liquid cooling but I guess that would up the price even more.
I will say though, during setup on my Scorpio edition I had to reset it as it seemed to be stuck in a loop for over 30 mins.
"one has to ask themselves what changed people's mind at the last minute."
I changed my mind a week before release as I thought is it really worth that much money, but managed to pre-order the Scorpio edition again 3 days before release after convincing myself and have it now. That's what's making people back out, realising just how much money is coming from their bank.
That's true. I know 3 people who cancelled due to other expenses.
Very true, haha.
It does, they confirmed that a few weeks back. Wish they had a release date though. Guessing early 2018
The last pictures in that column show a huge difference. The one where they're aiming and has wires and stuff.
£40 for a gimped version of Doom lol. £10 new on PS4.
@YEP414: You keep believing that lol. As long as only you believe that's fine.
No way a generation ahead, a significant leap though and a good move by Microsoft. I love my PS4 Pro but this year Call of Duty and Assassins Creed I had to buy for the X. Have them sitting here waiting for the 7th.
And Dolby Atmos just seals the deal.
It's a beautiful game to look at and play. Can't wait to replay it with the expansion. This game proves single player games aren't dead if done right.
"If the only people who buy it are the same people who already own an Xbox it's not increasing their market share"
Microsoft convinced me. I don't own an Xbox just a PS4 Pro until the Scorpio said hello.
The point is true 4k gaming, hence why the memory allocation is built around achieving that spec. It's a luxury console and one that I'm happy to buy into to go with my 4K TV. Microsoft know who they're targeting with this and a lot of people want the power.
@XiNatsuDragnel: There are no 32 cores CPU's on sale. It's something AMD could launch in the future. And if you had a PC like that you would clearly have a lot of disposable income yet you're waiting for a price drop on the Xbox. You're a dreamer and a bellend.
Sonic is shit!
Did one here in the UK, a SNES one. No-one's buying it though as it's pointless, just a skin.
Any headphones work with Atmos, you have to pay for a licence to use the software on the Xbox, that's all. Obviously better quality headphones will add to the experience.
That's the problem, people are and it must be in favour of microtransactions sadly because casuals and mobile gamers.
I hate it, will always hate and will never touch that crap but sadly people like us are the minority clearly.
All the fuss is because they clearly cut content from the game and plan around loot-boxes and stuff altering the game for that fact like make you grind more than you have to, make the game really hard in certain areas if you don't have certain items locked behind a pay-wall etc.
It won't. Casuals find it too expensive, like my girlfriend, who thinks it looks great but keeps wondering why a PS4 costs so much less when it has things like a Blu-ray player. She wanted to get one but got a PS4 instead because price and more features plus I got her hooked on Horizon and Uncharted.
The X is watercooled, why are people saying it could be an overheating issue? The type of cooling used in the X can handle insane heats.
