I never understood why people think it's ugly. Everyone complains when something looks too "Gamer", then when something sleek comes out everyone complains it looks like a VHS player. I for one, have never seen a VHS player that looks as nice. Looks good in the entertainment center with the Xbox logo lit up.
To each their own though. Aesthetics are strictly opinion.
Yeah this gives me pause as well. I'm not completely against it, but I'm going to need to see something really impressive to gain real interest in it.
I don't even need it on PC. Normally I would rather play on PC because I like those frame rates and pixels, but Bloodborne plays great on PS4. I really don't care if it comes to PC or not. That said, petty petitions like this are childish. The game will go where it goes. The PS4. The IP is owned by Sony. They're not letting it go.
Why does anything graphics wise have a point in gaming then? We should play shooters where we're just a box, and we click on our opponent box to win.
The more they add like this, the better. Immersion is very important. To me at least.
Yeah there's no doubt in my mind that come time to vote for GOTY, this will be in the top 3 spots to vote for at least. That's if something great comes out before then. If not, this won.
I would agree if they made valid points to mark their score that low. They don't though.

By their pros and cons, I would put the score at at least an 8.5-9.
Positives
Sleek design, lots of exciting weapon of choice, content rich gaming systems, rewarding boss fights, cool weapons
Negatives
Stilted animations, a little too long load times, at times choppy graphics
Someone always has to go against the grain. When there's so much positivity around a game, and a review like this comes around. I tend to mark them on a list to not pay attention to their scores.

Those are all good games, but I wouldn't call any of them except Bloodborne a "must play". That title should be reserved for the best of the best.
I think they got it right. As bad as you all might think that is.
