VGchartz is there source. Notoriously inaccurate information.
These shoes probably cost close to $10 to make, for $950 they should do something awesome.
Pachter is the king of talking out of his ass.
The Parity Clause is that if the game comes out on another platform such as a PS4 or Wii U before the Xbox One, it cannot be on Xbox One, ever. Correct?
Why is Warface on Xbox One right now?
Wasn't that on PS4?
@YouAreSalty
I'm not sure what your point is.
The numbers matter more than the results.
Also, the FPS is a huge difference. Immediately distinguishable.
Hopefully at least by then.
Wonder if it'll be available to the public. I want one, but I want the best version. If it's Beta I think I'll pass for now.
Most people would rather have 1080p instead of some shadows. It's a tricky game to play, but the 1080p number is the seller. If it was 900p, that's all anyone would have focused on. Bungie made the right decision, because if they would have went with 900p there would be a lot more complaining than just you saying you want shadows.
Looks like the delay on that thing is pretty much non existent. I would guess 20ms or lower. I'm glad there is so much competition in the VR game. It's going to push VR to it's full potential. 5 years from now, VR will everywhere. Can't wait.
I don't understand. Mojang made one good game. That's not worth $2 Billion dollars. Their other game is mediocre.
You know who is worth $2 Billion:
Bungie, Platinum, From Software, Epic Games, INSOMNIAC. Hell Sony would probably give up Naughty dog for $4 billion.
I think this is a supreme waste of money.
@Romudeth As much as I wish COD would fall off the map for a few years, I don't think this year Destiny will beat it.
Or just build a good PC, and have more power than both the PS4, and XB1 combined. Like mine.
Not to mention GTA V is getting a re-release. Which will stack the number even more. Even if Destiny turns out to be the biggest selling new IP of all time, it still won't beat the Goliath that is GTA, in sales.
@MRMagoo But, this isn't mocking. The article says that just for clicks. I think this is a clever, lighthearted way to get in on that Destiny hype. If Sony would've done the EXACT same thing. I think there would be praise across the board.
@Lava I'm sure their team of corporate lawyers know a lot more than us, because it looks to me like a problem. We'll see though. They get paid the big bucks for a reason.
Obviously they are. The years biggest game on a new SKU of the current biggest console, that's a scary thing for a competitor.. I love this solution though. I've got to hand it to them, they don't take the shots laying down. I wish Sony would've done something of this nature for COD. It shows a bit of character.
@joab777
"MS just cannot afford to have anyone thinking that if they want to play Destiny, they need a PS4."
That's exactly what it is, and I think there's nothing wrong with that. It's a creative solution to a huge problem for MS.
@Heavy No they don't, they're extremely humble about it. You mock MS with sales numbers.
@Below That's just the article title (for clicks), I don't see it as ...
I think this is their effort to make a viral marketing campaign because they aren't allowed to advertise Destiny. I think it's a smart idea. It's pretty funny, and lighthearted.
Oh man, nothing compelling? Everything is compelling once you put a rift on. I would gladly pay $400 for an Oculus Rift. From what I've experienced with it I'd pay $600, and it would still be worth it.
Considering my GPU was $500, a Rift for $200-$400 sounds like a sound investment into the future of gaming.
I love the back and forth..
