I'm openly a supporter of PC gaming, and I don't even own a PS4.
The thing is a headset that you shove a tablet phone into. I think my concerns are valid.
Samsung has a history of hopping on a hype train and releasing a half assed product to get out the doors first. I wouldn't hedge my bets on this one.
It's a cool concept, using a smartphone as the VR seems like it could lead to something. I'll wait and see before I get too excited.
No, they're not idiots. It's easy to think you're right when you're looking at numbers. If you have 912p and you put good AA on it, it's going to look better than 1080p with a lot less AA. I'm not saying that in this case that's correct, but either way you're general statement is wrong.
IQ =/= Resolution
1080p + No AA = OK
912p + AA = OK
There's a trade off. Both platforms are going to say get it to 1080p because of the resolution fiends that want to be able to down talk the other platform.
If the PS4 ran this game at 912p, it could probably get pretty close if not make it to the PC Ultra settings. I would take that over 1080p.
It's all about preference I guess.

The approved news on this site is going down the shitter. For the last few months it's been 50/50, BS to News ratio.
It's more about having hundreds of thousands of If/Then statements that bring the world alive. They talk about NPC intelligence and variety as well. From playing tennis to hiking on mt. Chiliad. GTA V felt alive.
@dip90 The article doesn't mention anything that would make it seems as if they're distancing themselves. Just noting that BOTH platforms released in a weak state when compared to PC.

@Fishy Fingers The overall point still stands. The screen will become higher resolution over time. The Frame rate still needs to be higher than 60fps.
What he's saying is true, The PS4 can run games in 1080p @ 30-60fps. VR requires 2 screens running 1080p @ 90+ That's more than double the power required. Over time, that will increase even further. For proper VR, at this point you'll need at least a GTX 780ti. In the future, you may need dual 880s. Depending on the screens resolution, and assuming the 880 is a decent jump from the 780ti.

BF4 isn't that good. That's why my master race brethren aren't playing it. We have thousands of FPS games to choose from. PS4 just has a few, so it's obvious that the majority of the people playing FPS games will play the best one on that platform.
I thought it looked interesting. I'm passing now though.
If I can't play in 60+fps, I don't want it for PC.

And then trollfully voted that the show was "Very Good". I think there is an actual interest in the XB1 in Japan. Just not enough to get people to buy a console. Consoles are currently dead in Japan.
