I led this generation, as I did the last, by initially purchasing an Xbox and subsequently following that up with a PlayStation (for their exclusives). I got my Xbox One for a number of reasons: Exclusive games, preferred controller, Xbox Live ecosystem, online community, Blu-ray support, backwards compatibility, vast app library, the (failed) promise of Kinect, Windows PC streaming, external storage and Play anywhere titles. I've purchased about 50 games ...
