After having gotten the platinum trophy last night, I can confirm the reviewers giving this game abysmally low scores like 4/10 and 5/10 are just delusional. Not a perfect game (no game really is). I'd say more like a 8/10 or 8.5/10. An extremely solid foundation for a new IP with amazing technology behind it. Massive potential for a sequel, so I hope RAD gives us one!
Why in the hell would you want to skip the cutscenes on your first playthrough?! Not every game is a bro shooter with no storyline.
I don't understand how this dude manages to get along with Kojima, considering he seems to hate cutscenes so much. The MGS games are some of the most cutscene heavy games ever.

I'll take Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Persona 5, and Dark Cloud 3 over ANY Xbox One exclusives. Also, for what it is and seeing that they're both very similar games in what they're going after, The Order is better than Ryse. :) And I've played both, unlike you.

If I recall correctly, Ryse also didn't have people getting their hands on it early only to blaze through it in a speed-run on their first attempt by skipping all cutscenes for the sake of sparking controversy over the game's length.
I feel genuinely bad for RAD. They've poured countless hours into making this game that they're finally ready to share with everyone and instead of being able to be excited and appreciated for their contribution to this industry, they're being threatened to be burned at the stake by fanboys who don't even own the console their game is releasing on...

This is coming from someone who has been (and still is) genuinely interested in The Order: 1886 since the original reveal trailer who also owns a PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and 3DS.

Worst gaming related news I've heard in awhile. I've been waiting with bated breath all this time hoping there was some glimmer of hope for a new Conker and then I hear this. The Conker IP was easily one of the greatest hidden gem IPs that Microsoft had, yet they tried to have Insomniac rush it to market?! Wtf...
