Nope, just good marketing for God of War 4 to build up hype for the franchise prior to release. I'll gladly playthrough it again at 1080p/60fps. If you look at screenshot comparisons, the textures during the Poseidon boss battle look markedly improved.

This really isn't anything new. The servers for 13 got shut down right around when 14 came out. Not saying it's acceptable, but it's been going on for awhile now. lol
Please don't forget who we're dealing with here: Kojima. Easily the sneakiest mastermind in the industry trying to fool people, ultimately for marketing/hype. I wouldn't take any "news" coming out of Kojima/Konami without a grain of salt.

Not really sure why this game is getting so much hate. From what I've played, I think Visceral did a very nice job. Not a GOTY contender or outstanding by any means, but very solid and enjoyable so far. The SP campaign has actually managed to grip me, which all of the past BF iterations have failed to do. It's very episodic (e.g. says "last time on Hardline" when you resume... think Alan Wake), which I really like. Also, it has a drastically different pacing (e.g. much slowe...

My guess as to one of the reasons why they delayed Uncharted 4 to spring 2016 is because of current production on an Uncharted trilogy for PS4. We already know the Marcus Phoenix Gears collection is coming this year, so Sony probably wanted something to more directly compete with that, seeing as Gears 4 most likely won't be releasing until late 2016, at the earliest.
I'm guessing they thought that an Uncharted collection + Uncharted 4 releasing in such close proximity...

I heard about this deal early this morning on CAG. Don't get your hopes up too high. The second I saw it I loaded up about 25 games in my "cart" for $150ish and was fully intending on buying them... Come to find out that most of them weren't available for shipping, only in-store pickup, none of which were in-stock at any Best Buy's within a 100 mile radius of me. Seems to be the case for just about everyone else too.
Eww, what happens when they inevitably pull a scott pilgrim on all your games? To each their own, but I like to have full unequivocal control over my video game purchases.
We can wait a bit. We'll be plenty busy with Bloodborne in the meantime. :)
