No point trying to explain this. Most folk kicking up a fuss about these "predatory business practices" are just repeating what youtubers have told them and probably wasn't going to buy the game to begin with. Like it or not MT are going nowhere because money. Providing they have no effect on my game I don't care.

Having played the game it seems a Final Fantasy XV situation where parts of the game are purposely set up for DLC. As much as I love the game I can't help but feel this DLC at least should have already been in the game. Even more so when the side missions are underwhelming for the most part. Adding another boss fight to the game can't do any harm.

A grind because you need to complete some side quests in RPG style game to level up? Say it isn't so! They should just let you play the last mission when you boot up the game for the first time otherwise it's a grind!

Dead or no it's a shit game. Still casuals lap it up so eh.

Exactly this. They did choose to work there thus I see no issue. R* require this workload and some folk are happy enough to agree to it because money. Nothing more to be said and faceless people on the internet have no say in the matter too.

Ah yes the cliched comment that's posted for upvotes. Well done!

As much as I'm not a fan of MT in any games I really don't see the big deal here. Odyssey rewards you for playing the game much like Origins did and not once have I felt I must grind or spend real money to progress. The MT make no difference at all to the game thus I don't care.

I agree with the side missions. This is a main place where Witcher 3 shined and that's because the same love and care was put into the side missions as it was the main game. Ubisoft should take notes from that. The branching choice options really all amount to the same thing too in most cases. I didn't feel I made any meaningful choices at all. I didn't have any issue with there being no difference between the playable characters though save for male or female as that way I'm ...

I'm using Alexios on my first playthrough. I admit his voice acting was patchy at first but I've now got used to it. At the end of the day though it's good that we have a choice and so far I'm enjoying the game a lot.

So a improvement over last years but still the same old franchise? I'll buy in a sale/price drop because stone cold said so.

2.9 is already a thing. Also this is great for folk like yourself who are looking to buy a all in one package.

I love the Arkham series but how will this make folk "lose their mind" as RS claimed?

Not a rehash as they are expanding upon it. Still I do agree they will port this game to next gen consoles and possibly even GTA V again simply for the online.

There is also plenty of other online retailers.

As I said I'm all for different opinions. I'm not looking for 9/10 scores here. I enjoy scores that are a little lower then the rest as they list both the good and bad more openly. However when other sites give a game a reasonable score but one site deliberately scores a game low I can only assume it's clickbait. It'll happen with RDR 2 and any other game.

Whenever a game comes out these days you always have at least one sight that gives the game a lower score then the rest just for clicks and it's normally from a no name site too. I'm all for opinions but this is blatantly one of those sites.

The game will have a inevitable special edition with Vergil at the very least being playable. MTX suck but if you want to play this game without falling to the greed of publishers than wait and buy that. On a side note for a company that's so money hungry I'm still not understanding why DMC 4: SE never got a physical release outside of Japan.

I'm not worried. The opening will be a more upbeat song as always with the ending song being more mellow like Don't Think Twice. I admit I was expecting a remix of Don't Think Twice as past games remix the end credit song but this stops the songs becoming stale I suppose.

So are you suggesting I should wait and buy the inevitable Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition? Not a bad idea to be honest.
