Most folk who played the series from the start are happy with how this game turned out. This isn't a article from someone who likes the series though.

It is strange that proud mode is the highest difficultly and even that doesn't seem hard at all. I'm the type of guy who normally starts a game on normal but after hearing how easy the game is I went with proud mode hoping for a challenge. Sadly that did not happen.

Seems to me you haven't even played the game if that's what you think. Probably just posting here for upvotes thus saying the opinion that you know will get you those. The only thing that was "the same" is the map. The rest not so much. The Bird of Prey, Beast Master skill and generally combat all felt very different from the top of my head. Mostly due to no guns being used at all and the things you could do. You're own personal view on if it was worth full price of not ...

Not all expansions add new areas though. Hearts of Stone comes to mind for The Witcher 3. This game also adds expeditions and those are new areas anyway. It's a stand alone expansion pack. Like Undead Nightmare was really. Expansion packs generally cost around £30 just as this game costs in the UK at least. It seems to me you're just hating for the sake of it.

It seems like you've never hard of expansion packs before. That's basically what this is.
Primal wasn't a expansion nor DLC. It offered a lot that made it it's own full game. This on the other hand is indeed a expansion. The price reflects that too.
Games are not useless just because a new console comes out though. Being digital has no relevance. Keep your old consoles.

It is strange that they went this way. I assume it's because Nero wasn't even talked about in DMC 2 but neither was Virgil so eh. DMC2 before 5 would be more logical as in 5 the gates of hell have opened thus Dante could return,
I actually liked Asylum better than City and would say that's my favourite superhero game. Spider-Man is still however a excellent game. For a long time I wanted another dev to make another great superhero game series like Rocksteady did with Batman Arkham series(save for Origins) and now we have it. I can only hope we see more devs do this.
We already know why the game has little FF characters. The game has that much on the original characters front that final fantasy characters simply are not needed. This is very clear when you play the game and honestly the FF characters story arc wrapped up in 2 anyway. The combat? It's the best it's ever been.
The Disney worlds were much more meaningful this time around and felt more coherent.

BBC and a lot of uneducated people seem to think a epilogue is a ending. It isn't and thus this article is pointless and embarrassing.
Of course it comes with the ending. You just need to download the epilogue and secret movie.
Better? That's subjective. The game has a great selection anyway.
