A lot of folk want to rush through games these days only to complain when they can't do that or when they can complain how boring the game is. Some folk even go as far to say that side content is grinding. Side content is in the game for a reason and this game is full of things to do if you have the imagination to do so. I'm happy you've seen the error of your ways.
You know you can travel to every city via train. stagecoach or even your own bedside right?
I'd rather you not go on because all those so called points are simply invalid and I'd imagine your other things would be too. It's easy as hell to make money in the game so I don't care if apparently some "staple" has been removed. Something that I've never noticed before but eh. As for the collectable map thing alright you may have got me with that one. We know how very important these things are to playing the game. *rolls eyes*
Here is a spoiler thou...
You've gone on from "designing the game around MTs" to crying about bugs. I get the impression you've not even played the game because if you did you would know nothing is locked behind a paywall or has been removed.
I'm sure that's nostalgia talking as "the first game" was the same as this is pacing. Hell I'd even say this game has more action due to having more options. I also recall spending a lot of time picking flowers in RDR and actually enjoying it. Glad to see that's returned here.
I agree with your first point however not your second point as the games are no designed around MTs.
I'm in the same boat. I'm more a fan of the fantasy setting so like Witcher 3 more. However RDR 2 is definitely a close second.
Vice City number 6 and no Manhunt? Fake news.
"I've yet to get the game though, but having played all GTAs and RDR, I know this control issue is legit."
You've not played the game so can't comment. With that said the protagonist and horse are a bit clunky when not in motion and take a while to slow down when you want them too. It's not a major issue for me and everything other than that is fine.
Apparently a Spyro + Crash collection is happening. I'll wait for that and pick up both these collections together. I see zero reason why all content can't be on one disc or even two if needs be. RDR 2 managed it just fine.
Can't even hire a hooker man. So much for realism!
" the problem is that realism get's in the way of the fun aspects of the game"
For some sure, for others not so much. Personally I enjoy the realism for the most part. The game certainly has flaws(some clunky movement going on) but overall the realism adds to my immersion. This is the first R* game I actually spend my time roleplaying in too.
I wouldn't see any point doing a GTA: Wild West edition when you already have GTA V/Online making the money. RDR 2 and probably RDR Online offers a alternative that will get more people spending who might not have liked GTA Online. Hell perhaps even some folk will spend money on both. Options are always welcome.
It's a methodical pacing to the game. Starts of slowly then picks up. Much like most great games or films for that matter. I'm only in chapter 3 at the moment though.
I'm not a fan of Football or Shooters in general but why would anyone wait for games they want to buy(unless they want to wait for a sale)? Some folk are actually happy with buying yearly titles and that's perfectly fine. It's their cash they are spending. I find it more "disappointing" you're so concerned with how others spend their cash.
Yeah I mean Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone proved that..... oh wait.... nvm.
Witcher 3 at least proves this article wrong. Hell that game told multiple stories.
No publicity is bad publicity or something.
They teased Black Cat herself was the point I believe so in answer to your question both.
Agreed bro.
