Devs can show anything they want. However the thing is most have very little to actually show this year.
It's about time folk stop bending over backwards to try and please everyone. The folk complaining know nothing about it when compared to it's creator anyway so "f you" is probably the best response.
Agreed. It's a single player game first and foremost for me so eh.
Hard to really say how many episodes they will need to complete the story as each episode could have more or less content.
My interest is how long it'll be. I buy games for single player.
CDPR gave a reason why they didn't show gameplay and the same reason probably could be applied here. Square have months of marketing to do. I see no reason to show everything right now and then have the rest of the months be filled with "we want to see more!!!"

I can only hope the single player is something like Spider-Man and that includes length. If that's the case then they can do whatever they please with the online part as I doubt I'll play it and it won't take away from the game. Only time will tell.

Graphics look better than Watch Dogs 2 clearly. Art style isn't anywhere near the same too. I'm also not sure how a game based on hacking can remind you of Far Cry 5. As for playing as anyone? That's actually a cool feature regardless of your thoughts about Ubisoft. They could have just had create a character and took the "lazy" route but they didn't.
Nothing set in stone over that yet. Although I believe they said the game will be in parts with each part being like a full game regardless. How long each part is remains to be seen.
Last I heard it'll be in parts but each part is like a full game. This does seem to be coming out quickly though so only time will tell I guess.

Can't say I care as we will be waiting for the game until April anyway and Gamescom will have Gameplay.
