They may close down a lot of devs but it's not like they round up all their workers and shoot them so they can't use their talent elsewhere. Usually when a studio closes the talent gets sucked up before the doors lock.

Motion controls don't belong in a FPS but light guns do.
ARMA could run on consoles but the learning curve would be to much for most console gamers... even simplifying the controls wouldn't be enough. I could see everyone trying to play it like BF but failing miserably.

I don't know... every Thief I played was pretty boring though I didn't play them until years after they released so they didn't have the same influence on me. This one looks good though so it might feed my klepto needs.

$600 isn't that bad... kinda out there for most but definitely not the most expensive. I just payed to be ahead of the curve... The 680 will be capable of playing games for years to come.
Already forked over my $600 on a 680gtx... they'll have to whip out the 800 or 900 series before I'll dish that kind of money out again.

I still haven't finished my first trip to ADHD land.
Shouldn't hit performance any harder than playing in regular 3d... I'm not really impressed with the head tracking considering it looks disorienting but the way they do 3D seems a lot less headache inducing. A decade from now it'll probably be a 4k version.
