Whip out the liquid nitrogen WE'RE GOIN TO 1.21 GIGAWATTS.
Psssssst... You don't need to most powerful CPU on the market every year for just gaming. ._.
Pricing is actually kind of modest for them this time around though.
Original.
Give me a proper response. ☺
You know it's trolling to call someone a troll.
I'd rather not make petty squabbles public. No ones impressed by your low IQ...
Excuse me, I have a sippy cup that needs my attendance.
GOW 3 was pretty epic... upsets me that I only played through the game once before ditching my PS3.
Bet $1 that the Church of Scientology will try to sue R*.
Who knows... but it has the tell-tale signs of the RAGE engine. Could be authentic or a modded GTA4 considering the origins of this video were no doubt from a PC.
Crazyglues...
That was the most drawn out way to promote timed missions XD.
Console-ification... never read an article when there's a poorly made up word in the title. Just implying PC's are becoming more like consoles is blasphemy... everything offered on consoles has been available for PC for ages now minus the mandatory subscription fee's to access P2P multiplayer.
For you guys paying for Xbox live... all I ask is that you go on strike and boycott your subscriptions for at least a month. Start a petition, demand silver access to multip...
Hopefully gets rid of the screen turning black randomly (but not that often) in BF3 on my 680... it's been a problem for me since 310.14. Downloading now.
2GBs is fine. It's not really the standard yet. PC is heading towards super high resolutions/multimonitor/3D which warrant that much memory while 2GBs is more than adequate for a single monitor at 1080p. The only sacrifice you'll have to make would be dealing with lower res textures which won't really be that low res heading into the future along with maybe not being able to use the more memory hungry AA models.
780 will most likely be 10-20% more powerful than the 680 with it's main improvements going towards power usage. I doubt they would want to dethrone the Titan with a series card after only 3 months.
It's redundant to go off specs alone.
GDDR5 is a modified DDR3 module geared for higher bandwidths with the trade off being higher latencies (slower communication) which is great for GPU purposes but could pose a weakness for CPU related tasks.
DDR3 offers lower latencies (faster communication) which suits the needs for the CPU but the bandwidth isn't as wide so it would pose a weakness for the GPU.
What people don't acknowledge is the fact that the tech has to be powerful enough to full...
LOL... read the article. Saw BF2 and was like WTF... clicked on the link to the actual list and laughed. BF2 Modern Combat XD...
Their shutting down servers for games no one are playing.
Don't waste your money on this build... If your looking to build your rig just continue to save until you can afford $800-$1000.
Check list
6-8 core processor
8GB Ram

MERICA WINS...
if not... NUKE IT.
Where's the "MINE" button?
This is money well spent... it's a one of a kind collectors piece/history.
Whats up with the Dual GPU vs Single GPU comparison thrown in at the end?
OH GOD... I just realized someone probably has a $100,000 rig right now. ._.
I'm assuming you mean GDDR5 considering DDR5 doesn't exist? Real DDR5 would in fact be considerably more powerful than DDR3 but that should be expected of future tech.
DDR3 = Faster/Smaller bandwidth
GDDR5 = Slower/Larger Bandwidth
Neither one has a real benefit as unified memory. A preferred solution would actually be a split architecture like the PS3's. 5Gbs DDR3 for the CPU and 3GBs GDDR5 for the GPU(more than enough for 1080p)... the ...
