I'm definitely looking forward to the Steam OS. I wonder if it guarantees that all future Steam games will have to be available for it? It's a pretty great idea to have an OS dedicated to gaming. Might end up getting a second SSD for Steam OS and its installed games. Dual boot would not be a problem.
Read my mind. Has been saying the same since Snake Eater if I'm not mistaken. I think Kojima might feel miserable while making the game and even worse when not creating anything.
This should be next gen only. No Xbox 360 or PS3 version. That way Bethesda could focus on a true next gen experience.
True. I've always found that to be weird considering that 2 770 SLI will get you better results for less $$$. Maybe the TDP is an issue? I don't know. You're right though.
I bet you'll still be arguing against the PC version even after it's released. Are you by any chance the author of the "Keep GTA V off PC" petition? You seem to be on that troll level.
Another 7990 card seems rather pointless seeing that the new AMD line is about to launch. I bet 2 mid-range ($250?) Hawaii GPUs in Crossfire would out-perform a 7990 easily.
AMEN! SHAMBALASHALACHANGA!
When virtual violence becomes reality? That has literally never happened. What is this, The Matrix? How about the very REAL 300+ million weapons in the U.S.? Nothing virtual about that. Why is common sense so challenging to these right wing sad sacks? Can you pause for a second to think about what you're doing? You're blaming videogames for the deaths of dozens of innocents? Children even? All while ignoring the cold hard fact that the shooters where mentally ill and had access to wea...
And this comes out before the new consoles launch? Oh boy...
Yeah PCs are the worst. That's why BOTH consoles are basically PCs with their x86 architecture. As Mark Cerny would put it, PS4 is a "supercharged" PC. I'm not gonna argue the pros and cons of PC vs consoles again; might get better results talking to my dog. Still I'm happy that consoles are stripped down PCs. Means I probably won't encounter another terribly coded PC port seeing that developers are gonna have to code in a multi-threaded architecture. Thanks new cons...
There IS a lot of games worth buying. There's literally decades of games worth buying (seeing that PC doesn't have a backwards comparability issue at all). It's just that GTA V is an exceptional game that's being dragged down by the ancient consoles. When you get to see GTA 5 running in true 1080p @60+fps I'm positive you'll understand.
So I guess that powerful petition to keep GTA 5 from releasing on PC didn't work, huh?
Nice name. Handy for when Fox News blames the next tragedy on videogames. "It gives you points for killing like a maniac!".
Not a new GPU? Ok... I guess.
Scary games are dead...if you only play on consoles.
It's easy to see the PC version running right now. Just look at the trailers. The console version looks nothing like that.
Look! Above me! Someone who actually knows what the hell they're talking about!
You guys know that this has nothing to do with consoles, right? Unless the consoles have a PCI-E expansion slot that we haven't heard of, this literally has nothing to do with that 2nd GPU nonsense. This is the reveal of AMD's new line of GPUs for PC.
Actually it's just common sense. http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
Please don't bring my crystal ball into this. It is not for what you think it is. Saying "It's going to be $60 on PC as well, unless you're willing to wait a couple months." like you did just a comment ago is more of a prediction.
You get what you pay for.
