Well I bet he still lives with his parents! When I was 16 I was married with 5 kids to feed!
GTX 680 is still mighty powerful.
"Are you talking about the company which both broke a promise concerning DLC for a popular title, release it as a new game instead, or failing to release the third installment of another popular game?"
I don't see how that impacts what Valve is trying to do with the Steam Machines. I'm more impressed with what it has done in the past 8 years with the creation and growth of Steam, the actual games that they have released or what they're trying to do in r...
Ah yes. Another article writing off the Steam Machine. Even though it's being built by a company that's centered 100% around gaming and has been enormously successful at pretty much everything they've done, some people don't see it happening because the controller is weird.
@mestre
"Even the bad PC fanboys, like the article writer."
You mean the one that bought a console copy and will buy it again when it releases on PC? Yeah, bad PC fanboy indeed.
"That is IF they have the chance to play the masterpiece on PC someday outside Youtube."
I can't believe I never heard of this! You can play games THROUGH YouTube?
"You see... It seems so much piracy has...
PC version coming soon.
@KonsoruMasuta
Not impossible at all. Emulators junior.
Very true. It is very similar to what Nvidia did. The R9 290X is the only "new" new chip in it's new series, just like the GTX 780 is the only new chip in the GTX 7XX series. I honestly don't see that as a bad thing. Hopefully the next series of Nvidia GPUs will have the GK 110 chip on at least 3 three cards. Hopefully a re-branded 780 (maybe a GTX 870?) will be around $350-$400.
BTW does anyone know if the new Crossfire tech will also apply to the other ne...
"A lot of PC gamers and their dogs especially have been flipping their shit and tables, screaming: 'Cancel the gen!' 'Next gen is already outdated' 'Next gen ruined!"
"their dogs especially"? Does that mean that the dogs are complaining MORE than the PC gamers?
No one loves the next gen consoles more than PC gamers. They are basically closed PCs in a box. The X86 architecture means that PC will see less half-baked ports...
Well shit. I thought it was a new game. I'd love to see an X-Files game in the style of Gone Home.
Sounds pretty sweet. Hopefully it will also improve the scaling of crossfire setups. Now let's see what Nvidia is cooking up... rumor is Maxwell will be out on Q1 2014.
Sweet! Too bad it's not a A:CM sequel. JK f*ck that game.
Building a PC is super easy these days. Just watch a newegg video on youtube. They're pretty informative and easy to follow. At $600 you might be limiting yourself to lower end hardware if you're gonna build a PC from scratch. Around $1000 can get you an awesome monster-powerful system especially with the new GPUs that AMD is about to launch.
CPU - Intel i5 4670k @230
GPU - AMD R9 280X @300
MB - Gigabyte GA Z87X @140
RAM - Corsair 8 GB ...
Ooohh that was a hard-hitting prediction! Money well earned Pacther!
@alex
"I challenge any PC gamer to build a $400 PC on the day PS4 comes out"
See this the type of nonsense usually spewed from willfully ignorant fanboys. How about comparing the PS4 to a PC on the PCs term? I challenge you to upgrade the GPU or CPU of your PS4 to any other of your choice. I challenge you to play all of your previous Playstation games including PS1 2 and 3 on your PS4. I challenge you to adjust the graphics options of your games to ...
How dare you use common sense in here? Facts don't matter in a flame war.
This is what everyone wanted right? Not a new Persona RPG but a new Persona fighting game?
Thanks! Where can I have a beer? WHAT!?
It doesn't matter, huh? Oh boy...
You should see the games in motion and then try that comment again.
