This article is telling you that the PS3 has some kind of problem that it cannot play GTAIV -- and it will require *YOU SEND IN YOUR PS3 FOR A $$ REPAIR* -- and here you bring up the Xbox 360 heat problems (that were resolved almost a year ago, and everyone gets a free repair).

Gears of War 1 is still one of the most respected games of the generation, it won piles of Awards, sold very well and got excellent reviews.
So, for all your "faults", know this: Its as good a videogame as you can buy today.
But, I'm sure you're not able to play it anway.
Why would that be bad at all? Gears of War was an enormous hit, won piles of game of the year awards, sold very well, and got excellent reviews.
The game *should* be compared to its original.

You clearly didnt play the first game.
That is just one level -- the levels have all kinds of different play. In that level, you are riding that huge carrier, in others, you've got full freedom to travel around the map however you'd like.
Rockstar just told you otherwise. You people just cant accept reality can you.

1) The console was fixed nearly a year ago.
2) Every owner gets a free fix if they do see a problem.
3) Sony hung out millions of PS2 owners with broken PS2s without any help or repairs. So, Sony (and its cheerleaders) have *no* place to talk about the Xbox 360's heat issues (now fixed).

Xbox's Black Hawk Down has 40 person multiplayer.
Frontlines: Fuel of War has 50 person multiplayer.

Just like I bought GTAIII: San Andreas and GTAIII:Vice City. they were expansions to GTAIII -- I could have just continued playing the "run and gun" fun in GTAIII without VC or SA, but I *also* play the missions.
