I hope they work really hard on the handheld space. If they implement Windows Vista SideShow feature into the Zune or their Danger HipTop, I'm going to love it.

They turned the corner in the middle of 2007. The screaming doubters have had their mouths shut (except for the most delusional zealots (hello N4G!)).
You only need to look at what gamers are choosing. There are more people choosing to pay $3.00 per-month for Xbox LIVE than there are PS3s on the planet.
That should tell you a lot.
Earth to tk, come in tk.
Not lies. Sorry you are experiencing Cognative Dissonance:

Kotaku is printing a press release, those will be the accurate dates.
Dont bother trying to appeal to Sonarus' platform-neutral game appreciation.
He just saw an opportunity to one-up the other camp.
MGS looks like it might be a good game, but its only _really_ good if it comes out exclusively on Sonarus' favorite machine.
Yes, its good for the Customers.
Why would you bundle your most anticipated title? Its gauranteed sales -- why put it into a bundle?
For two reasons A) You desperatley need to take a jump in install base or B) Your game isnt very good.
The MGS series has been pretty good up until now, so I dont think it is (B).
I think that Sony must have promised them a Install Base as part of the Exclusive Package or something.
This...
Bundling in your most anticipated title?
This can't be because Sony feels good about its place in the market. I sense a desperate attempt to ramp up their install base.
I suspect 3rd parties (Konami!) is pushing this, or have had it in contract since the start.
Nintendo is not hardcore against piracy, as stated above, the Wii has been violated deeply and completely.
Do you have a point?
The Guide on the Xbox 360 is capable of downloading DLC. Updates are just "free DLC".
When you start the game, a panel moves in from the right of the screen and says "There is an update for this game". You say "yes" (or "no") and it downloads.
This is the In-Game-Commerce features of The Guide. The same thing that permits you to buy maps and such from within the game, without having to return to the Dashboard or leave th...
No device can prefer one channel over the next, it is a software choice, and doesnt make any difference. Just be certain the rest of your 802.11 gear is configured correctly, and the Wii will be happy on any channel.
They have been running GameCube mod-chips on the Wii since virtually day-one.
The Wii has been bent-over and wont be getting back up. This may be a move against the recent exploits, but there wont be any way to fix the Wii (from what I can tell).
The depth of the two games is also very important. The tuning of Halo 3 is incredible. The balance of the weapons, maps, vehicles, timing and tactics are terrific.
COD4 is a good game, and as you say, more "new player friendly". But Halo 3 is like chess, anyone can play, but it takes a lifetime to master.
Halo 3 Multiplayer has the kind of perfect tuning that will keep it the front runner for some time to come.
Hello? Moderators?
A couple weeks of COD4 on top.. and? So f-ing what? Who cares? COD4 is a great game -- that doesnt mean that Halo 3 *isnt*. In fact, its one of the best games of 2007.
And, after months, its still being played by many many many people. As will be the case this time next year.
But, what does it matter? All this means is Xbox 360 owners have all the best multiplayer experiences.
All the better.
Go play your PS3.

You're dead 100% correct. The site is overrun, without any question.
The site needs to promote more moderators to kill this traffic.
I know this is going to get me modded down. But, Im slowly loosing interest in this game.
Basically, it is a co-op physics-based level editor / level player.
You'll be able to make physics-based level jumping game?
I'll admit, it has a unique approach, a lovely kawaii art-style and will be unique.
But, where's the game? It looks like level editor for a platform game...
How fun is it going to be to play these levels? ...

$50 for a movie? Wow! Clearly, the future is Digital Download. Who wants to pay that kind of price for a movie?
whatever, enough with the excuses.
Today, there are 18+ Million Xbox 360s and 10+ Million Xbox LIVE users. Deal with it.
Stop making excuses, because the 3rd party developers arent going to give a heck about what happened in the *PAST*. They care about today and the future.
And, clearly, based on Attach Rates and Install Base and total-marketshare, the Xbox 360 is FIRMLY in top spot -- yes, I include Wii.
