No mate, the 360 has not been out for 2 years in Japan. It was released on December the 10th 05 if my memory is correct. Or around that date.
And 1 million mark in the UK. Where did you dig that up from???? I would be amazed if they had sold that many. I thought I was the only person to have bought one.

I have never had a problem with mine since 05. I know one person who has had a failed unit. I also know one person who's PS3 died on him at the weekend. He's also the only friend who has a PS3.
Its a bit like mud, it sticks even when the problem has almost gone away. There will always be failed units, it should be around the 1.5 to 2% mark. Microsoft had a nightmare to begin with I wonder what the failure % is now. I haven't heard of any Elites failing yet?

I wonder how big 360 games are when they are not compressed. I think this is more like whats going on. It takes processing power to uncompress the data. And it saves time for the programmers.

No one can guess what the mass market will buy in to. If you look at the fight between the DS and the PSP, I would have put money on the PSP being the winner purely based on power, and I would have been wrong. Well at the moment anyway.
Games company's want to sell lots of games, its that simple and if the PS3 is held up by the wii, then who knows what will happen. I think the wii is kind of helping the 360 some way. But that may be my odd opinion.

I live in the UK and I don't know any one who is going to purchase a PS3 at £425. They all want one including me, but at £425 at the moment is a waist of money.
And I now know more people who are playing games on a 360 than any other console. All my friend who own a PS2 are not buying games at the moment. Their PS2 is a dust collector.

I think the games looks good for gameplay and graphics.
But can some one tell me how many processors the Cell chip has? I thought it was taken down to 8, so you have 7 SPE and 1 SPU(I think). But now every were I read it appears to have only 7. Is this true?
Gears of War and Lost planet look like they could be better. But as for the racing genre, Motor Storm looks like the most playable game out of all the other racing games.
But I wont know how good any of those games are until I have played them all. Lets hope there all great.

I have loads of gaming friends who all have PS2's. Only half that number have purchased a 360, but none of them are going to purchase a PS3 because of the high retail price. And as for me the gamer who has bought every console at launch, I am going to wait until next Christmas and thats on the assumption that Sony drops its price, otherwise I will wait until they do.
But as for gameover for the 360, I don't think so, theres too many good games coming out for it, and the console...

9 is go enough for me, 1 point of a perfect 10 is good enough to classed as a AAA title.
A AAA title is a game that will make people purchase the console. Console sellers in effect. Both of those games are worth the purchase along with the definitive version of Ghost recon.
And lets not forget the possible soon to be king of AAA games GEA...
