The game is looking so good.
I hope they make the game an evolutionary step over PSE4 which I think was the best in the series.
You can not compare the car screen shots. The PGR4 one with the rain on the car looks way better than the plain GT5 screen shot. But as I said these can not be compared as they both have different graphical aspects.
It would have been nice to have seen cocpit screen shots from both games.

I have just watched the trailer after reading some comments.
While I think the game looks good it is nothing compared to the trailer that was shown in 05.
The graphics don't look special, they are very much one colour with many shades. A bit like RFOM, just not brown this time.

I think it’s a bit naive to think the 360 is mostly a FPS console. Take a look at the release list for the rest of this year and you will probably see just as many first person shooters on the PS3 as there are on the 360. It's just the 360 will probably have the best console FPS.

It's great that you think the 360 has a better gaming experience. That's what I bought my 360 and PS3 for. Nothing other than pure gaming.

I want some kind of credit for the £425 I spent on my PS3 only 3 months ago.
Completely gutted, just like I was when MS dropped the box’s price. But at least they gave us gamers some form of credit, 2 games and an extra controller.
I feel gutted. I wasted my £425 on the PS3 with and then they release a version with 20 gig more and rumble controllers.

The game uses the Neon engine, which was not specially designed for the PS3 or 360.
It like a lot of games companies out there, they create a game engine and try and make it run on the different consoles.
Credit to MS for designing a versatile console.

The PlayStation 3 version is virtually identical to the 360, other than the occasional aliasing issues and sporadic slowdown.
I would also like to state the graphics are on par with Fear at the moment. Which is an old game on the PC.
I am only an hour in to the game so they might get better. So while the graphics are good, they are most certainly not ground breaking and I don't think this game is straining any of the consoles.
I agree there is something wrong with the video. It looks like they have use a washed out colour correction on the 360 video. There does apear to be snow or something in some frames.
On my TV the 360 game doesn't look washed out like this video shows.
Its a bit odd but the games looks great on both platforms.
There is a Video quality setting were you have a colour correction option at the start of the game. This does add a more vibrant colour scheme. And you can choose a colour scheme that does looked washed out.
It must be said the PS3 version did have more colour in this video, but my 360 version which I have just watched again at the same starting sequence, isn't as washed out as the game appears on the Game trailers video.

What are you going on about the 360 in Europe is a disaster. If it is, then the PS3 is a planet killer. The PS3 is doing really poorly in Europe at the moment, that's because of the price and the complete lack of games.
I thought I was the only fool to purchase a PS3. At this moment in time, it is not worth the £425 I paid for it. Its an expensive dust collector. Maybe it will be worth getting one this Christmas or in 08, but not now.

I have to disagree about the controllers. I have a PS3 and 360, and the 360's analogue sticks are just so much better than the dead zones found on the PS3's pad.
But each to there own and I respect your view.
