agree Uncharted is a good game.
But your comment "Uncharted does more for this generation than any game has to date" makes you look like you are wearing the bias goggles.
It does nothing new, but is a really good game, as simple as that.
me the problem isn't the different scores between Mass Effect and uncharted , it's the scores between Mass Effect and Bladestorm that ruin Edges credibility on reliable reviews.
Mass effect 7 and Bladestorm an 8.
Worse still Kane and Lynch received a 6, 1 point lower than Mass Effect. And we all know KAL has some serous problems.
some developers don't want to go down the road of the new way of programming yet, meaning the ps3, because with games like this there is no need, the current hardware and software gets them to the same level they want to reach.
Maybe the Cell is too far ahead of it'd time for it's own good in this generation.

There review scores have become so inconsistent over the last 2 years that I don't bother taking too much notice of them.
They gave Bladestorm an 8 which is 1 more point then Mass effect. It make perfect sense when most of the reviews are from different reviewers, you have no comparable views from the same person.

I did think about purchasing it, but it didn't say anything about analog controls on the back, so I left it.

The problem Sony has, is what the 360 and Wii are doing.

have the 360 version and there is no gameplay slowdown.
It's the replays that are the only thing I have notice to be strange. Running fast and missing frames, but no slowdown. And that goes when you take control of the replay.
And this didn't happen in the demo.
This kind of explains why they didn't release a demo on the PS3.
It will get sorted and then we can all enjoy the best footy game on the market, on which ever platform.
the 360 version and it play's so good. Only having played 6 games I would give it a 9 out of 10 at this stage.
I have yet to notice any slowdown while playing. But the replays for some reason run at a fast pace and miss frames of animation. But that all goes when you control the reply which is good but still a bit weird. This didn't happen in the demo.
The graphic's are as they have always been, not as good as Fifa but still acceptable.

I haven't played the game myself as it's a Christmas present. But did see someone playing the game and it looked very good. Some of the best Character models I have ever seen first hand.
For me this looks like it could be one of the best games this year.
