Of all the games we saw, that I can remember off-hand, Killzone: Shadowfall stole the show, so that was my favorite, but Knack and inFamous: Second Son are not far behind.
God, I feel like a turd right now.
I look at my PS3 and I'm like "You're not a PS4, I don't want to play with you anymore. Can you play Killzone: Shadowfall?!? ... NO, NO you CANNOT!"
Killzone: Shadowfall - I better be playing this when the PS4 comes out, Sony. I NEED this.
From everything we've heard so far, it doesn't sound like the development costs are going up much this gen. The initial jump to HD was probably much more expensive.

If I had to rate the conference...
1st hour: 10/10 - I thought it was really cool how they introduced the system. They explained the specs and architecture in a way I understood. They introduced the badass new controller, told us all about how you can live-stream your game and how your friends can participate, save and upload your gameplay videos and they even gave us a glimpse of how the next-gen PSN will work with cloud integration. I thought all of that stuff was fascinati...
I'm thinking this will be a fairly long event. I think they're going to tease us a bit before they show us the PS4, by talking about the Vita/PS3 first and just sprinkling in little sentences that hint at the PS4 to keep you on the edge of your seat. Then once they get the Vita and PS3 talk out of the way, all PS4 from then on.
I'd bet they'll start off by talking about the Vita, announce the price cut, maybe some new games, ect... Then they'll move on to ...

Its going to be interesting to watch. Before the PS3, Sony had achieved complete home console dominance. Was it their missteps that allowed Microsoft to catch up? Now that it'll likely be a level playing field going into next-gen, I guess we'll find out. Its gonna be fun to watch everything play out this year.

Does this really need to be discussed? PlayStation Cloud is a service, not the name of the console.
I'm buying it at launch, regardless of the price. I'm still thinking they will launch it at $399, with a second SKU that will have a smaller HDD for either $349 or $299.
I was thinking a video about their first party studios, but that would be nice too!

I'm not sure, they already covered the Move in the PS3 video. Tomorrow, maybe their video will be all about their first party studios? Just a guess.
I thought that was a solid presentation, for Japan. There wasn't much that interested their western audience, but it was nice to see FFX and Dragon's Crown are alive and well. The price drop will hopefully sell more units too.
We'll probably see the price drop for US on the 20th.
