I beat the game weeks ago, and I still find myself spacing out randomly during the day thinking about moments in that game. Such a beautiful game, and I honestly can't say that any movie has ever had the same impact for me.
The Last of Us should be the blueprint for storytelling in games going into the next generation.

I'll admit, I was a little disappointed when they announced their reversal, I was very curious to see how it was going to turn out for them (and gamers) - but signing a petition to get them to change their minds again, kind of sad.

Are those crappy little games? No, those are big budget AAA titles that you got for free with PSplus, I believe Battlefield 3 is coming too. There are many more, including Vita games like Uncharted: GA, Gravity Rush, Ninja Gaiden, Blazblue, Wipeout, Disgaea 3.

Updated my PS3, played some Last of Us multi-player for a few hours ... no issues for me.
Pretty much this. At $500, I personally don't think the audience they're targeting will be interested at that price, and the gamers, who generally are the early adopters of consoles are most likely going PS4.
Who knows tho, with good marketing I'm sure they'll trick enough stupid families into getting one.
PS4 for sure, I'll be buying day one.
Maybe a Wii U down the road if the games pick up.
