That's wrong, The PS3 doesn't use the same type of RAM as the 360 or the same amount. And the Cell processor is the reason devs had problems with the PS3, not the RAM.
Either you're trolling or you know nothing about console hardware. Or you're being sarcastic (I'm not sure)
I won't mind just as long as they don't mess with the analog stick placement. Maybe just make the controller a little heavier with some added bulk, and some new triggers.
So many mixed reports right now. I'll just wait until they actually announce the consoles to start buying into rumors.
Q1 and Q2 will be incredible, Q3 will be horrible, Q4 will kick us all in the nuts with its epic.
BEYOND!!!
Because its a 3-4 day event, I'm thinking it won't be a PS4 announcement but its not too soon at all for an announcement. The Vita was announced at the Playstation meeting in January 2011. They usually announce a console roughly a year before it comes out, so I'm actually surprised we haven't seen it yet as it is.
I think this could be a Vita centric event.
Vita price cut
Uncharted vita sequel from Bend
God of War Vita
Couple PS...
I'm definitely in the same boat as you. I'll wait until 2014 or 2015 to buy one. By then I'll have a nice backlog of games to play.
Tell me about it! I don't even think I've played an RPG since FFXIII (ugh). I'm ready for a new one!
I'm sure Sony knows when GTA5 is releasing. They wouldn't pit their flagship title next year against one of the biggest releases ever.
Looks like a couple of people are trolling the disagree button.
That looked AMAZING! Time to per-order.
Soooooo good! That ending choked me up a little.
I'm pretty sure the retail collection comes out next week for $39.99
My membership actually just expired two weeks ago. I'm gonna pick up a one year card in November, free games on Vita FTW!
$35 makes sense, it just sounds a little random.
$15, $25 and $60 would work for next-gen systems too.
Its going to be interesting to see how this sells in comparison to the PS3/360 which will have a pretty big price advantage.
PS4/WiiU should make a good combo next-gen.
I'm definitely interested in Nintendo TVii, but the games were still lacking for me - and for $349, I'm definitely taking a pass at launch. I'll probably look to get one once they give it a storage upgrade and a big Nintendo exclusive like Smash Bros or a badass Metroid.
I'm a little concerned that they didn't announce any pricing on the GamePad - Anything over $100 would be awful.
I almost always buy my games new, but this is one case where I won't feel bad about buying it used.
Definitely buying this - Might wait until Black Friday tho, got a lot of good stuff to play up until then.
No Day of Reckoning? Man, that's one of my all time favorites.
Based on Kaz Hirai's comment of letting Microsoft announce first, I'm guessing Sony is pretty much ready to show the PS4 whenever. The only way the PS4 will come out in 2014 is if there is a major manufacturing problem that forces them to delay the launch for a few months.
I'm still gonna say it will come out in early November for $399.
