Also, his author pic is from Hank from Venture Bros - this man has good taste.
I will never look at Roger Federer the same.
And man, what happened with this one? I thought the Virtua Tennis series was supposed to be good!
Nice. I've always felt that ZodTTD would be far more effective developer if he focused more on specific projects, as all the iPhone emulators he made/ported had little issues that with some work could've been fixed but as it was, none of them were really good enough to be really usable
In all fairness, the DSi probably added more than the PSP Go does.
BTW, have you seen the art from their next game? It's apparently the craziest rock-paper-scissors game ever: http://forums.toucharcade.c...
"Yahoo Serious Festival - I know those words, but that sign makes no sense." - Lisa Simpson
That name makes no sense. "Emergency Dangerous?" Still...kind of awesome. Also love the art style similar to The Behemoth's stuff.
You know, robot customization games sound like the ultimate genre, yet it seems like no one's been able to make a huge hit out of them, and I just don't understand WHY.
Maybe that was the look they were going for - old-school PC title. At least it's a distinctive look.
I know. Podcast syndication = yummy
But this is why I love the App Store - it sounds like a nifty concept, it just needed someone to try and execute it.
I was really surprised at just how fun this one turned out to be, especially for a match-3 game.
Member of Parliament. Not Magic Points - life ain't an RPG!
It's hardly anything like Pokemon, or at least not as drastic a difference between the two versions if it was anything like the MMBN series.
The concept sounds interesting, but I've seen man a game with an interesting concept fall by the wayside as a piece of crap. Damnation, anyone?
Executing the light-gun genre on the iDevices is a tricky proposition - if you do tap the screen, you get the fear of it being too easy, like playing Duck Hunt with the Zapper 2 feet away from the screen, but if you use a reticule like MGS Touch then you get the fear of it being unintuitive. It's a conundrum.
Playing it, I was surprised as to just how much shooting lightning bolts felt like Gears of War thanks to the control mechanic. Still, I liked the game, although it got annoying at some points.
Seriously? (That was too easy)
Love to see EA supporting the platform, as there is definite potential there that big publishers just aren't exploiting (there's that word Activision loves to use!) - the key is gonna be to make quality content that uses your license, like what Star Trek did, and what Mass Effect Galaxy is doing to an extent, although I'm not too big of a fan of it so far.
This game just makes Merlin seem like a badass.
