I think that it has to do with the fact that this seems more...real? Also, it is pretty disgusting.
I am surprised at how few people have entered... hope the turnout is better than this.
This is an awesome deal... and you win the entire first season?!
It's hooked you without you even knowing it! In fact, odds are, I'm playing the game as we speak! Damn, I think I am! NO!
Right, it's more expensive and I should be even more careful with it.
I'm still waiting for my Tower Offense game.
I don't know if I'd be all that interested in playing a game like this on my iPhone. I played International Track and Field on my DS, and I several times wound up pushing the touchscreen 'glass' against the LCD. Still, at least I'm glad to hear that it's good!
Word Defense? That's...actually a great idea
As Lee Corso says, "Not so fast my friend!" The gameplay is just as good as Worms (albeit lacking the subversive humor of the Worms series), has online play, and is unique enough on its own to justify its existence alongside Worms.
People like this need to have the book thrown at them.
That's what I was thinking as well. Nope, just a generic fat kid.
Seriously. 20 bucks with 4-player online? Score, dood.
I agree with Jinxstar - it's a solid genre, it's just way overdone on the iPhone. How many TD games does one man need?
The tracklist is just kind of disappointing, but I guess with the DS they have to aim for the lowest common denominator.
Glad to hear the game is good, but I'm still skeptical of any on-rails game in this day and age, especially. Haven't we grown up enough to move on our own?
Wow, this really DOES look like Chrono Trigger. I'm intrigued, will need to check it out.
It's about the subtext - you're supposed to catch the reference yourself. Humor requiring some intelligence from the viewer, that's what it is.
Let me just take the time to say, if this means that Mortal Kombat characters can make it into Scribblenauts because of this acquisition, then I'm incredibly excited about it. Otherwise, Midway has indeed seen better days...and the Mortal Kombat series was always overrated. Contradictory, I know!
So what happens to Mortal Kombat now? Will they keep making the game that they have been developing or bring in a whole new team?
I didn't realize that it was that big of a deal
