PS1 "discs" won't play. They never said there wouldn't eventually be a way to emulate them. In fact they suggested they will be available through Gaikai emulation. I hope it's similar to what PS3 does but Gaikai emulation would be fine for many. Remember how slow PS1 emulation on Vita has been rolling out. Just because they haven't mentioned it doesn't mean it isn't planned.
Nothing confirmed. Also a rumor going around about November 14.
Proportionally, it will probably not be as dominant. However It could still hit 150 million because the market has grown and continues to grow.
The features they would would not justify reserving a whole GB of RAM. Windows 7(you know the good one) only uses 1 GB of RAM and it's capable of nearly anything you want to do. I doubt Microsoft will use much more than a GB and they're building in connect and running three separate OS's.
The Wii U could completely fail and Nintendo wouldn't go down. Also right now most of it's current sales were at launch so it wouldn't bea easy to beat. They can turn it into a profitable console. The GameCube was highly profitable and the PS2 absolutely destroyed it.
Super Mario 3D Land while a powerful system selling title did not turn around that handheld's misfortunes alone. Monster Hunter and Pokemon did most of the work. The price drop also led to huge increase in sales by itself. It also helps that 3DS has gotten nothing but support since then. Look at Vita. That's a only slightly more support than 3DS had before that price drop. 3DS got crap because it wasn't doing DS numbers but the sales were never abysmal. Wii U sales are pathetic. T...
@ShinMaster,Even though you may understand this already I am going to explain exactly what it means. What they are saying is that Wii U is put together to maximum optimization at lesser specs. In other words Wii U can do more with 512 mb of it's RAM than PS3's 512 mb because of how it's put together to make it more efficient not because the system is more powerful. They're not saying it can do more because it's using new more efficient chips. If you understand this, then ...
@Campy da Camper If you skip through the cutscenes, that is why you don't get. Old Snake would not meet New Snake or any of that BS in Ground Zeroes/MGS5 we know this because Solid Snake(the clone) is Old Snake and Solid Snake has meet Big Boss several times. Even with Solid Snake's advanced aging(which got much worse in 2007), he would not old enough to meet Big Boss in Ground Zeroes when has literally 3 years old. There would not be a conflict of interest for David Hayter who has vo...
13 had a good story but it was mostly character development. It's the subtle things going in the background and the ending was only confusing if you weren't paying attention to the heavy foreshadowing. There's a few nice twists but nothing that wasn't clearly explained. It needed more focus though. It's not until you're about to leave Cocoon that things start coming together and then you're thrown in a place to farm until you can beat the next eidolon and one of th...
@DigitalRaptor XNA does not equal supporting indies. It's not nearly the same thing Sony is doing now and has been doing with the Pub fund. Also "Steam is pretty late to the game" Really? Steam and PC is where most of the great indie games are. PC is the easiest platform to develop for and Steam is the easiest to put games on. There's great stuff on XBLA but there's just as much on PSN and way more on Steam.
It's a little complicated at first but yeah, it's great multiplayer shooter in the end. Don't expect go in expecting Battlefield or COD. It's free to try so check it out.
I don't delay purchasing games because they might be free on PS+. I buy the games I can afford and the games that are free due to the subscription are usually the ones I chose not to buy in favor of another game. Every once in a while I already have it. Like Infamous 2, Darksiders, Blazblue, and Demons Souls. All over a year old.
The only one I agree with is Crackdown 2.
Army of Two: The 40th day should be the Devil's Cartel.
Also, 13-2 was "better" than FF13 in almost every respect. While it was unwanted sequel, the game is significantly better than the first. The only respect FF13 beats out 13-2 is the lack of a few spells like Death and summons. FF13 was already the worst in spell count and had the worst summons so it wasn't like the lack of these things hurt the game. A ...
It's not that everyone in the Sony PlayStation division cares more about the customer than profit. It's that appearing to care, giving people what things they want, and not restricting the customer in any way is the best way to achieve success they are after. Sony just understands gamers better than even Nintendo who are focused on the ideas the company wants for their console(innovations in play like Wii U gamepad, Wiimote) instead of what the gamers wants from Nintendo after 8 years...
Usually freebies are PSN games or are very old before US Plus puts them. Hopefully US Plus is learning to put more recent and extremely popular games up like Europe with their Arkham City GOTY, God of War, Hitman, etc. If we get another fighting game on Vita, it better be DOA5 Plus, not Ultimate MvC. I love Blazblue and it's step in the right direction from PSP fighting games(why no PSP RPGs) but that's 3 fighting games in a row. Give use Escape Plan, Super Stardust Delta(with dlc), L...
In video game years, 3 months= a year. Are we on Mercury? It hasn't even been a year since Sleeping Dogs was released.
It uses a blue-violet laser but it's not a Blu-Ray. It's same way HD-DVDS are not blu-rays. Both use 405 nm(blue-violet spectrum) lasers, both are comparable in size, and yet there are differences in read speed and storage capacity among other things.
Obviously the kids seriously screwed up. There's no debate over that. Howver, gun control for a .22 rifle is a little overkill. A .22 is weak hunting rifle that barely even kicks. Obviously it's dangerous weapon but why was a kid just be able to get to it and use it whenever he pleases? He shouldn't be able to do that because precautions should have been taken to prevent this or an accident from occurring. It should be unloaded, locked up, and kept away from the kid until it was n...
@LOGICWINS Freud's ideas are not falsifiable. They're also so general and vague they could applied anyone. Jung's ideas while not perfect are far more applicable to a general population. The Oedipus complex is one of many in his theory and not everyone develops it. There's also the complex known as "the shadow". Freud also simplified instincts too much into life instincts and aggressive instincts. While Freud had some great ideas, they are more in the vain of hermene...
The only thing to buy for 13-2 is Lightning's dlc now $2.50. The rest is adding content that doesn't do anything for the game. Also we don't know they'll do dlc yet
