Here would be an example of a gameplay category
Bioshock: Infinite (Review)
GAMEPLAY
At its core, Infinite has solid controls for it's weapons and Vigors, and both feel responsive. (+7)
Skyhooks as well as Elizabeth bring some variety to the gun fights and offer different angles of attacks, whether its launching yourself from the sky to strike an enemy, or Elizabeth throwing the player ammo when he/she is running low. These elements mak...
You do realize your "must buy," or "pass" verdicts are essentially just subjective replacements for a number system right?
This isnt THE problem with reviewing games, there are so many...
My personal method is to list the important factors under the following, Gameplay/Story/Art/Intangibles . Give each factor a number based on its negative or positive impact in those categories. At the end see if there is a positive or nevative score.
Its certainly not for the f*cking broken sh*t for farts MP. F*ck you Ubisoft, i will never ever buy another game from you:
More moments like allowing players to jump in a random pool with Drake saying "Marco...?"
Shit like that, naughty dog makes you mega-babe status... Also Ellie rubbing her nose in the winter part was demon.
they didnt dominate like previous years, but he makes a good point. if its not AAA glhf.
Lazy ass developers
Yeah sucks not being able to shoot your way to victory every single level huh. Did you think this was a shooter? Did you think?
This article is not long enough. I think the biggest reason, is that there is no help. No one is telling you or holding your hand to complete a challenge. But since the level design is so sublime by the time you get to a new challenge you have enough tools to figure it out. And just from a technical standpoint there still isnt a game with a more varied mission structure than Half-Life 2. Everything else is just so ... simple. It's truly rewarding to complete a new puzzle or challenge on y...
OFC its possible, just make it arcadey as hell.
TLoU is the best game ever made at this moment. Its not perfect but its hard to argue against it.
Please enough with watchmen...
Most dissapontint end for me was Bioshock1 with the boss. 2nd is prolly idk like stuff
Lost Vikings?
While Uncharted 2 did have too much firefights, (especially towards the end,) Unharted 2 had other elements of gameplay, Climbing, Stealth, and you know Puzzles.) Not to mention everything worked sublime, the pacing and story matched the level design perfect... And hey the MP was actually pretty fun. Uncharted 2 is still considered the gold standard for its genre.
Bioshock on the other hand has Shooting and Shooting plasmids. Oh and Shooting a skyhook, where you can proceed t...
enough with the sad eyebrows I get it already
"This is the best game to show how far we've come"
Proceeds to show level after level of shooting people in the face. GotY2013

Bioshock: Infinite "important"
Im dissapointed... Where is "Thirst For Blood:6 Deathfist"?
Jesus they shouldnt be allowed to touch online again after FC3s disaster of a MP. Only GTA5 had a worse one, but they are actually patching the damn thing. Ubisoft can rot in hell.
How about some decent level design this time.
