Having a fetch quest for every mission is pretty annoying and lazy game design. It's funny how most open world games give less options for players in that sense. And since most open world games are massive in scope it leaves the writing department and voice acting on the backburner.
It's not that hard to realize how making open world games bigger and bigger isn't going to achieve anything besides looking at a fancy number. Id much rather play on a map the size of a small ...
Blizzard says hi
This title lies, the article doesn't include the decision to get rid of custom MP maps from Multiplayer, which was featured in nearly every iteration of the franchise prior. Or is there a part 2 coming out, thanks.
Weve done some research and are proud to present the first Resident Evil game to break into the world of M.O.B.A's we are so excited.
nah you are right, i loved clicking through 3 different tabs to see a 1 page article
No mention of the sh*t multiplayer? what gives? You guys all gave FC3 a free pass as well. If the game has a MP component and is displayed on the back of the case, then f*cking review that as part of the score.
Video games have gotten so similar to eachother over this past decade, and achievements have only made it worse in that sense. Same engines, same controls, and now they all have the same shallow achievements.
Achievements/Trophies have been such a burden for developers. They also can ruin darker/creepy/serious game moments when a giant pop up with flashing lights rolls over the screen.
It was cool doing something like glitching on top of a building you weren...
Right... you almost jested proper
Yeah you could, but there was no ammo, no vehicles, no lobbies, no enemies/animals if you wanted to play with other people.
But can we play said maps, with other people? In Far Cry 3, we couldnt.
Every game is a straight rip from another game. They even use the same controls and engines.
Did you read the review or just look at the score? They give very specific reason of why it got... a 6/10. 6/10 is still a decent game.

Multiplayer / Editor news? Anyone? A few short weeks before release and we know elephants.
Disturbing that there isnt any MP news.
It represents the anticipation and fallout of playing the game... That was it?
No, please enough with FPS. Unless a game is a slide show with less than 30, no one really should care.
"1) Ignore it
2) Not buy it
3) Respect the fanbase of those games"
Thats pretty tame and a poor argument, because you are responding to people who are hating simply because they can.
How about to the people who say, "Stop making Assassins Creed 3 and then 3.5 the next year."
It is a lot of wasted effort and time for the fans if the developers use the exact same engine, slap on some new pai...
the gameplay idea is great, you dont like the details, ok
One of the joys of playing any videogame is accessing a new level or new area, with open world games this happens more often... and when it is spontaneous its really great, so good point there with exploration.
Hell, as a gameplay variation just looking at a physical landmarks with regard to an actual map your character is holding, (without shiny lights telling you where to go,) and figuring out how to get to your destination is something lacking from these types of games. Ge...
