RROD, disk scratching, Kinect, closing down first party studios like it's *ahem* going out of style, charging to play online, p2p online, Rare, Unreal Engine 3, etc., etc. pick one. If the gaming media still won't let Sony's E3 from 2006 go, you can't expect gamers to get over actual gaming related missteps that still plague us today do you?
only because it would look sub-HD and be p2p connection with 8 vs 8 being the most players in a match and the maps would be built with campers in mind... just because the devs don't want to alienate the 360 players with something that's good for a change. I hate being grouped with level 40-pluses from foreign countries who don't know how to play coop!!! Voice chat or not you're screwed at that point.
It's funny because a lot of matchmaking MP games are trying REAL hard to basically be the lobby system by giving all these extra "preference" selections. Just be the Lobby system and work like it used to.
You can pump out super special real textures as hard as you want (everything else will need to be tweaked or there becomes a disconnect with the visuals), the animation will still look lame, the world will still feel lifeless, the enemies will still be dumb as a bag of hammers, and the story and multiplayer (or lack thereof depending) will stay the same (Crysis much?) Killzone 3 will still be a better game, no matter what you think your dream PC can do to Rage.
they don't have any good ideas to make their game interesting so they have a zombie mode included. It's Activision.
