and enjoy your "console exclusives"
Deal with it. It has the whole "It's 2D and vague like Braid" but it's not as great as braid like a lot of people are making it out to be.
wanna know the hardest part of using situational awareness? telling your parents you're gay!
No you'd probably just make a better game, at sony they call making an HD AAA game "slow tuesday", at MS they call it their "yearly". just remember it took a multibillion dollar ad campaign to get those several millions sales, money well spent right kids?
actually when rick is ripping his head off looks almost exactly frame-for-frame copied from the helios head rip. so you fail at disagreeing just for the sake of being butthurt that someone gave praise to a PS3 game.
but Killzone 3 will be nominated for more GOTY awards.
Inception came out and everyone stopped talking about how great Avatar looked. Avatar didn't win any real awards at the ceremonies that merit the craft of the movie just the visuals... Hurt Locker, Crazy Heart, Inglorious Basterds, and Precious will outlast any memories of Avatar or Alice in Wonderland. Sales don't mean shit, remember, Titanic was the king of sales for the longest time and that movie (in my opinion from the get go) was shit.
You could talk about a great multiplayer match for, what, say an hour? People STILL (to this day!) talk about MGS1's story. A great story outlasts great multiplayer.
So Uncharted 2 sucks but a game plagued with bugs and cheating and a Micheal Bay approach to storytelling (Modern Warfail 2, "plot holes? Noone in my audience will notice if you just throw in explosions, lots of explosions, oh and a pro-american military fetish!"), overhyped garbage that couldn't deliver (Conviction and Alan Wait), and dialogue trees with crappy shooter mechanics and facial/character animations, now with less reason to continue playing, ie:RPG-ness (Mass Effect ...
kind of sad you still don't see the benefits of exclusives, but of course when you're not given exclusives you won't see the benefits. Enjoy your multiplats and believing you have the best the gaming industry can offer.
ah 2007 when FUD and misinformation ruled the land. too bad the facts won't be on the table until the generations over, maybe the industry will be smarter for the next one.
you didn't PLAY KZ2's MP, and btw Halo Reach is gonna be a giant waste of money, just like ODLC!
but I do have a bit of respect for anyone I come across on PSN that has a Plat in Warhawk or Wipeout. Anyone can get a Plat (Uncharted 2, there's a tweak glitch, you can have unlimited ammo and one hit kills on your first playthrough of crushing. Thus you can grenade spam the final boss.), but those two games' plats are for the truly dedicated, large e-peen or not.
end of discussion. I've jumped on Home a few times, and had fun with it, I see it for what it is and how it benefits gamers. I could easily say cross game chat is a failure cause I don't use it (and thus XBL is a failure, cause that's all your paying for) but the industry seems to think XBL is some infallable entity. Different strokes.
I'm still not spending a dime on FPS games the rest of the year. /s
Unless Resistance 3 made some crazy-ass moves, and gets released this year without an ounce of leaked info. Wasn't gonna buy Crysis 2, the first was mediocre and plain, just had a really pretty face. Times changed Killzone 3 looks better (console to console comparisson, not "lookey what I deed with mah pee seeee MAUDS!") and offers more. MOH and Black Ops are gonna take two large chunks of...
and Omega and Blaze no where to be found, probably off nursing their hurt egos... you now know what it's like to own a PS3 during 2007. Congrats.
A shame is company A got rid of all their 1st party devs because it didn't see the benefits of having them and spent a bunch of money on a dashboard navigation tool that plays crappy shovelware, so now it's fan base expects company B to supply company A's product with quality games. Should've just went with company B's product to begin with.
How can U2 pass the torch to ME2 when U2 is a better game than ME2? BTW, other games released this year are more deserving of GOTY than ME2. It's an RPG that forgets it's an RPG (Final Fantasy 13 in all of it's fail and glory is a more solid RPG), but the gunplay mechanics are too dumbed down to be a competent TPS.
Killzone's gameplay is better than Halo's, it's not Rat race to the best guns and spawn camp to be uberleet, you won't last doing that in KZ2's multiplayer. There's strategy to it, as I get destroyed in Killzone's MP, but can jump in Halo 3's/ODST's MP and clean house after not touching the game for months. Killzone's MP is far deeper and more rewarding than any Halo game, and if Killzone 3 is looking to add to that, it'll probably be more rewarding...
shovelware is well received by non-gamers and this doesn't work well with any other kind of games that actual gamers play... Love the logic. Please continue to keep the internet funny.
